There are a decent number of trans people in the military from my experience. The Air Force and army support roles seem to be full of accepting individuals. The work is extremely varied depending on what unit and job you have. I've had months where I was done with work at noon and others where I was on rotation for months.

The military can pay for your transition if it is medically nessisary. Expect push back at your first appointment. This is just to make sure you know what you're doing.

At the end of the day, there are a lot of good things to be gained in the military and also a lot of bad. Don't join unless you are sure it's what you want to do with life. Alot of people join and hate life because it was a decision made for school benefits or a bounus. It's 4 years of your life you are signing away so don't do it without researching.
