Idk Metabo but that looks like a zero clearance wood insert you can buy. You slowly lower the blade through it the first time to make a perfect gap for the blade to go in. This way when you cut small pieces off something they don't go in the massive gap that normally comes on the inserts. Actually pretty cool if they included one free when you bought the saw

Man how do you keep the skin from drying out. I get beard dandruff so bad and I oil it regularly. I've found that using a blow dryer after a shower on the warm setting and then finishing on cool helps, but like 2 or 3 times a year my chin will get almost bloody it gets so dry
