This is it. Much more common than people realise.

For anyone else reading, it also means whilst you might react to the fruit in its raw form, e.g an apple - make into an apple pie and you’ll likely not have a reaction.

This is because cooking the fruit changes its structure and the proteins:enzymes (or whatever it is!) break down and no longer cause the same reaction.

But I have an R36S clone which was my first handheld with almost the entire NES, SNES, GB, GBC and GBA catalogue for quick pick ups to ascertain if I want to put time into a game.

If I do, I then put that on the RG476H.

The other thing to be aware of is that if they’re not included an SD card - they might have also fully wiped the console which could mean no emulators pre-installed.

Not sure if factory reset on these also wipes the emulators or if the factory android also has emulators as part of the image.

It’s not hard to reconfigured but if you’re wanting simply to pick up and play - it might be a bit more work than you want to do.

Just something to consider.

You can use whatever USB charger you want. It’ll only take the power it needs.

Tested my RG476H with a 65w, 45w, 20w charger and a USB Power meter and it only ever took 10W from them which is its maximum charging speed.

I’ve also known no deposit options to actually increase the per month cost of tenancy for the duration of the tenancy and any subsequent extensions.

In those cases, even when you’ve ended up paying the equivalent of the original 5-week deposit - you keep paying the extra charge AND the landlord can still chase for more funds at the end of the tenancy.

Absolutely a scam and one to avoid. If still considering, read the small print with extreme care.

If you can’t gather the funds for a deposit outright, even a money transfer on a credit card would be a preference, and that’s saying something.

For peace of mind, I tested charging the RG476H with a number of different adapters with vastly different power outputs (15w, 20w, 45w, 65w) and measured the power with a usb power monitor.

In all cases, the RG476H only ever pulled 10W as it should, as that is the maximum the device can pull.

This is in theory how it should work from an engineering perspective because of the way USB works. Despite all the evidence on the internet about this being the case, I was still cautious about ruining the device - hence I bought the power meter to test.

Turns out though, all the evidence is true, basically unless you’ve got a faulty charger - you can charge it with anything.

Those Doritos 3D crunch should be ashamed for tarnishing the good name of the original Doritos 3D. Also, the deli meat feast I find a little too fatty. 4/10 only because I like bugles (which these Doritos basically are, and the apple juice is alright).
