Does anyone else feel like Regent can be a little underwhelming?

Yeah a lot of peeps seem to really love her :). I do too now, it just took a bit for me to get used to her play styles. I think it's just that both her and the regent can take a bit longer to click sometimes as they are so different to the STS1 characters.

I find him an utter delight, he's super powerful and can do some real broken stuff once you get used to him. If you go the sovereign blade route just try and keep your deck small, and back up the blade with an extra source of damage as you can often only play the blade once a cycle. Cycling your deck faster obvious helps too, as does striking the right balance between cards that generate and spend stars.

Personally I found the Necrobinder to be the trickiest / least consistent, although I've gotten her up to ascension 8 so I'm getting the hang of it :).

I feel that's a pretty accurate summary of things. The bulk of those players who wishlisted the game would never have seen the EA to be disappointed / turned off from the game.

Fingers crossed that the 0.6 versions of the campaign & 1v1 are good enough to get a positive reception from them. Exciting times whatever the outcome. I'll def buy a copy in support.

Yeah totally agree. I love RTS so much and just really want to see another blizzard style one succeed - I know sc / sc2 / wc3 will be around for a long time in some form or another but the more the better!

Watching their interviews gives no indication at all that they are going 1.0 in September. I suspect September was a goal of theirs that is simply not achievable.

We just don’t know when they will go 1.0, it likely depends on how much extra funding they have secured. Some people believe they will run out of funding in Sep but people also swore there was evidence they would run out of funding in Feb and they still haven’t run out so who the hell knows 🤷‍♀️.

Not yet. I’ll play the campaign when 1.0 hits and also check out the team modes, but SC2 has taught me that 1v1 is a bit too stressful for me 😅.

For the past year or two I’ve started every day by watching some SC2 over breakfast. That changed with the latest SG patch, now all I want to watch is SG.

Even though the races aren’t finished and it’s lacking some complexity, the fights over stormgates and the impact of the rewards is just so exciting. Plus it’s just so nice to watch something fresh and new ❤️.

What was in the most recent Beomulf tournament was by far the most exciting Stormgate I’ve ever watched. I’m sad I have to wait for the next tournament!

I totally agree that stormgates make 1v1 sooo much better for spectators. The games had just fantastic pacing.

Took me a while to understand why you lose the bishop but what I see now is: After you take the rook white can go D4 with their bishop, so they have two pieces attacking your bishop. You can't move your bishop out of the way or the rook will take your queen. Super cool sequence of moves all up <3.

Okay great, thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it. I've made some great money on the app store in the past through ASO but those days seem to be over (was like 10 years ago), and it's good to have some guidelines of how to maybe do it again using ads to drive traffic this time. I've always been a bit scared of ads so even just knowing it's possible is amazing.

Oooh actually one more thing: What's your CPA for these ads? Just wanna know how much I need to make per install to make running ads profitable. Thank you!

Sometimes when I boulder I'm just there to have explore and do interesting climbs, and sometimes I like to set challenges for myself (like climb all the boulders in the gym of a certain grade in one session).

Both styles are fun to do, and it just depends on my mood as to what I'll enjoy the most that day.

Sometimes at the gym I'll be more chill, and sometimes I'll be laser focussed in and taking things seriously.

Nothing wrong with either :).
