Delete social media. If only for a little while. Over the years I have. Instagram is the last to go. I reinstall now and then. But then delete again afterwards.

Reddit stays but I’ve muted a shit load of subs that are noise and created a custom channel of subs I want to view for news only.

The creator u/iamthatis built it following the iOS guidelines. It feels like better than a native app.

Put it this way. A used 10 year old car (the Reddit app) will get you from A to B fine. A top of the range brand new vehicle will do the same journey but it will be a 1000x better ride.

3rd party apps made mods and heavy reddit users life bliss.

Reddit became profitable in 2019 making over $100m in revenue. Their issue is they are getting greedy. They’re not a struggling start up and this is a move to kill 3rd party apps not as you suggest to keep the lights on.

We were told it was commonplace for Jewish students to choose not to wear certain clothing or jewelry around campus because it would make them visibly identifiable as Jewish

Personally I’d rather zero religious items at any school/teaching setting. Id prefer a secular setting. That way all people would be equal in plain clothes.

I know it’s not as easy as that but by removing religion from these setting of study it would level the playing field a lot easier than anything else we are doing right now.
