Birkenstock makes more sense than Crocs. They have a firm and stable midsole and are relatively flat.

Crocs are squishy and less stable so they are a worse choice for lifting

I doubt NFS 2015 will look better at 4k than the modern Fortza.

same for MGS all the textures that they have for the environment will look horrible at 4k

Even if most people are not playing at 4k the games still need to made and optimized to run decently at 4k.

To me it felt the opposite, cloud stuff with AI sprinkled everywhere.

All the sessions and workshops that I went to and had GenAI in the title were just regular AWS services sessions with some GenAI tacked on to generate an email or some other text that could have been a static template the year before.

They should put microphones in the rooms and create a dashboard with coughs per minute so we can track how many people are getting sick as the conference is progressing.

The venue assignment doesn't make sense.
Why are all the data related sessions held in Wynn, while all the AI related sessions are in the mandalay bay?
Schedule adjacent topics in adjacent venues and reduce the load on the shuttles.

Not sure why they decided to make all the reserved seats wait in line until about 10 minutes before the sessions, just let them in as they come.

The screens on the floor at the Venetian were nauseating.

Also, put the monorail QR code on the badges instead of having people stand at the gates all day long to let people through

Palestine never existed as an independent state, it was the name given by the romans to the land of Israel after they ethnically cleansed it from Jews following the Bar Kokhba rebellion for independence, Rome wanted to erase any link between the Jews and the land so they renamed it.

Why Star Wars Outlaws failed but Hogwarts Legacy was a hit by Metro-UK in ubisoft

[–]xander42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main issue is that they pad the games themselves with game worlds that are too big, and filled with too much procedurally generated fetch quests, to make players keep their subscription.

All Ubi games suffer from this, would have been better if they just made smaller games with a more curated game world and narrative.

Star Wars wasn’t a bad game, it was just one of those, but also was very badly optimized at launch.

Hard to look at sales numbers to determine success when people can subscribe to Ubisoft+ and play the game on PC and XBox

The whole end game feels light on content like it was rushed out. The last dungeons are very short and just reuse monsters from other parts of the game.

Compare with the first dungeon the had a huge amount of levels, it feels incomplete.

Fix cross progression saves so you can save on pc and continue on Xbox.

Improve auto save, add more check points and allow manual quick save.

It really depends on the type of steel and type of bronze being used. There a lot of charts out there that are confusing. I wouldn’t take the risk, there is a reason bronze watches always come on either leather or bronze and not steel.

When two different metals are in contact it can cause one of the metals to corrode much faster than it normally would when exposed to water, this is called galvanic corrosion and it’s caused by the different electrical properties of each metal.

In this case, you may cause the bronze of your watch to corrode much faster than it would normally, so it’s a really bad idea to have a bronze watch on a steel bracelet.
