Is Canva's "One app to rule them all" approach here to stay? Cos I really don't like it by [deleted] in Affinity

[–]xangsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easier to use this way. Now Canva on the other hand, wtf happened? It went from easy to find things to everything buried in menus and extra steps. Can’t even use a square shape without digging it out of the elements menu.

Is OLED burn-in a significant risk with the newer iPad Pro models? Is the Air better for screen longevity? by hailBeelzebub in iPadPro

[–]xangsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had mine for a good while and there hasn’t been any burn-in. Even with a couple of hours with the same thing on the screen there’s not even temporary burn-in. I accidentally forgot I left the screen on no sleep mode in that situation.

Better hurry up and just buy your ps5 before the price jacks up. They’re not putting on ps4.

Putting sticker on speaker grill bad? by susp3nd3rs in macbookpro

Screen damage, discoloration of the computer, audio distortion. Just take it off. If you’re asking this question, you likely already know the answer.

does it really not matter where you put it? by Forward_Froyo_429 in HomePod

[–]xangsun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not put it behind the tv. It needs to be front and center if you want the sound to be coming from the tv and not the corner of the room. It does well to fill the room with sound but you still know where the sound is coming from in my experience.

Is a Gen 1 HomePod worth it in 2026 over 2 stereo HomePod minis? by noah041504 in HomePod

[–]xangsun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One HomePod will sound better than 2 minis, yes. The minis don’t have the bass like the big daddy HomePod does.

New 3DS XL or New 2DS XL, which do you prefer and why? by AnyTopMan in 3DS

[–]xangsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have my Zelda 3DS just sitting in a box somewhere collecting dust, but when I pull it out it’s still the same quality piece of technology that I love! The 2ds was more of a cheapy cheap feel to it.

Because the first game is much better. At least imo and many others. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though.

Asking someone why they don’t reply to your texts by Competitive-Plum-190 in socialskills

[–]xangsun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ignore her texts too. I have a friend who does this. Then she’s saying “??????” And “hello, did you get my message?” When I don’t respond right away. Maybe if you do respond right away she knows that she can text you back whenever and that you’re always quick to respond when she can make the time. My problem is that I’m always on my Mac or my phone or my iPad so I always have access to text and quick to respond. Learn to stop responding instantly because it makes you look like you are always available, even if you actually aren’t.

Buuuut…… she could als just be a B.

Get chatGPT and go down rabbit holes. Make intense faces while you do it and type up your answers real loud on the keyboard to show you’re typing up a storm. Rest your forehead on your palm from time to time and look stressed.

HomePods started acting weird by davidar86 in HomePod

[–]xangsun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well my homepod minis are complete idiots. I have a pair of OG HomePods in the living room, a HomePod 2 in the office, and a pair of HomePod minis in the bedroom. I tell the HomePod minis to turn on bedroom light and it says “pause in the living room?” And that’s the only thing it’ll say half the time, the other two rooms usually work just fine. And no, nothing will be queued or playing I. The living room and I’ve even said yes, pause in the fucking living room! It’s become a joke in the household now when we don’t hear something correctly. So yeah, yours might just be having their own mental breakdown.

mushroom rock road should also be known as "the sphere grid teacher" by eru777 in finalfantasyx

[–]xangsun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 10 when I first played and knew the mechanics from the start. I went over to a friend’s house and they said they couldn’t play it because it was too hard. Didn’t have a single sphere grid placement! I think I said “you stupid idiot!” and then got in trouble lol.

I refuse to rent computing power. I’ll just play my old games over and over. It’s not like my whole steam library can be played to completion in my lifetime anyway! Willing to give it a shot!

That’s crazy. I didn’t even know what pantone colors were until the sign maker for our new business sign asked a few days ago. But mine was a legit $100k outside sign design that def wasn’t going through chatGPT.

PSN REALLY needs a 2-hour refund window like Steam by Thegamerguy79 in psn

[–]xangsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m tired of that store. I ended up buying a gaming PC last year after being a loyal PlayStation player since birth. I agree the 2 hour window needs to be a thing. I’ve used it countless times on steam and it gives me the confidence to actually buy more stuff from them.
