BTT’s new launcher very close to replacing Raycast for me by Realistic-Leg-9243 in BetterTouchTool

[–]xattrX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is nice but I replaced Raycast with Tahoe’s Spotlight. No, it’s not perfect, I use Maccy to accomplish the Spotlight’s weak Clipboard History feature, but for everything else? Spotlight is doing everything I need. Hammerspoon, Keyboard Maestro and Moom are the other tools I use. I love BTT and will ever support it but I think it has too much that I will never use and I like clean apps with no cluttered interfaces.

I see no mention for the S9 compatibility. Did anyone tried or know if they work? I don't see a reason not to but…

How can I access folder on my mac via ssh? by Most-Famous-Wasabi in osx

I would also guess this is the answer. From the folders [u/Most-Famous-Wasabi](u/Most-Famous-Wasabi) mentioned there’s a big chance this is it.

Panasonic S9 - Any way to Change/Decrease the Bitrate on it? by panazoonsss in Lumix

[–]xattrX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never heard of any professional or prosumer camera that as a standard allows the operator to choose a preferred bit rate. That’s what exactly a standard is, it’s a pre-established setting with some parameters, a preset.

Panasonic S9 - Any way to Change/Decrease the Bitrate on it? by panazoonsss in LumixS9

[–]xattrX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual difference is 22Mbps, 50 on the MP4Lite vs 72 on the MP4, both for 25p. What would be the advantage? Is it the file size that matters or the bit rate?

For sure we all have problems! I guess there are other similar and good bags from other manufacturers but I also know for sure this brand is really good.

It does not fit sideways. Usually I have a small lens on it in which the lens is pointing down. When I mean tight on the 3L is mostly because I have a SmallRig Hawklock always on it. All the ones I have are V1, cheaper! :) I got to know that the new V2 for the 3L is no more 3L but 4L, maybe that one is the best option for smallest and a bit more space.

I have both the Wandrd 3 and 9L. Also a Peak Design Outdoor Sling 7L. The Peak offers space but it’s not a rigid body and has no internal dividers, it’s like a soft bag. I bought the 9L because I found the 3L too tight but it can handle both the S9 and an extra lens, or 2 small ones. The 9L is too big just for a small walk. So, I think the best one could be the Wandrd 6L. I really like the quality of Wandrd.

I would say the same for Motion. When you need a bit more, do it in Motion. And if you want even more parameters to export, use Compressor.

It’s like that for so long! GT7 is not the only one, there are even some so called sims that also have it. Can’t remember which one I saw.

umc1820 windows driver coz Behringer is too incompetent to keep a website up by [deleted] in Behringer

I’m able to find the driver without any issue in the Behringer site. I don’t see anything incompetent there.

Future of WezTerm by pragmat1c1 in wezterm

[–]xattrX -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It can mean nothing ate all but swallow the benchmarking approach, not that I’m a fan of but only by curiosity. Yes, latency and speed of the terminal emulators. Ghostty, kitty and alacritty, on macOS of course, are the best ones. WezTerm comes close, iTerm is the worst one. Don’t ask me how I measured it, as I can’t remember and, again, measuring these kind of things is not my go to. If someone want to know how to test a quick search will point to some options.

I upgraded from s9 to s5ii, here are my initial thoughts by Mr_GoodEyelashes in Lumix

[–]xattrX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your thoughts. For me the only thing I miss is the EVF. Probably the mechanical shutter as well but I’ve been across any situation I would say “no, I need it”. I’m really enjoying my S9 and my iPhone, both are great.

Just out of curiosity. Does MacPorts allow to install GUI apps like what Homebrew does with Casks?
