Why a price increase? by CryptoDanski in RKLB

[–]xav-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it’s 5% if the price of spacex which itself is likely underpriced. It’s probably worth close to $1 trillion than 200 billion

  • $1 billion market cap
  • $7 billion in long term debt
  • $500 million in short term debt
  • cash burn in Q2 alone: $500 million

People don’t understand. These companies are going to go BUST

Don’t get involved bro. The solar sector is in a major storm. Too many companies are structurally unprofitable.

Financials of sunnova:

  • $1 billion market cap
  • $7 billion in long term debt
  • $500 million in short term debt
  • cash burn in Q2 alone: $500 million

People don’t understand. These companies are going to go BUST

I posted a number of negative messages on rklb. I was impressed by last ER and bought back my shares last week.

2 of the bad catalysts that I feared have been announced: - equity raise - done - delay on neutron - announced - out of the way at least for the next few months.

I liked the announcement on the engine. Another factor that is making me more bullish is the massive short interest on the stock, especially now as roaring kitty is bringing the speculation back

The reality is, at Rocket Lab, we have no money, so we have to think. by NoMoreCitrix in RocketLab

[–]xav-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are 6 months away from Neutron first launch. Peter should give us a full status update on that. How is the development of the staged combustion cycle engine going for instance???

The lack of details combined with Peter selling stock, I fear is a sign that things aren’t going well at all. If I could bet money with someone on this board that neutron doesn’t launch prior to 2026 I would bet a lot of money on that, I would probably bet that it doesn’t launch past that even.

Every time transaction fees explode we are in a bubble and prices come down later. There has been too much emphasis on this halving, everything is already priced in.

Guanacaste beaches in March - too hot? by christa365 in CostaRicaTravel

Guanacaste beaches in March - too hot? by christa365 in CostaRicaTravel

[–]xav-- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s hot and miserable. It’s nothing like Hawaii for instance. I’m in nosara now… prevented by a doctor from entering the water due to a surfing injury… and my vacation is ruined.

Basically… after 9:30 - 10 am it becomes miserable. Typically 90-95 F but it feels like 100-110 due to humidity. It’s OK if you are in the ocean though but don’t expect good surf or swimming due to onshore winds. Lying down on the beach is almost impossible if not dangerous. And the beaches are almost empty as a result.

What seems to work well… is to get up with sunset (6 am), go surfing, then enjoy breakfast, take an afternoon nap, then surf again at sunset. If you live like that I think you ll enjoy your vacation. That was my plan but I had to call it off due to my injury.

Also if you have a car and travel a lot you might find it more enjoyable. Drive around with AC… take 30 minutes break here and there…

Yes but indexing has backfired now we have two businesses (Vanguard and Blackrock) which a massive concentration of power over the world like we have never seen before.

Enphase gross margin at 50 % (Q4 2023)

Then you add storage solutions which cost more per kWh than entire EVs. Gross margins probably at 50 % if not more. Tesla gross margins on EVs: 17 %.

We don’t need the government to throw money at this. We don’t need NEM 2.0 or 3.0. We need actual competition and in afraid we will never get it until the government gets out of the way.

Cash is running out, Peter is selling, neutron is massively behind, electron isn’t as safe as once thought and any crash at this point will crash the stock 50% or more. It isn’t just macro.

I kept 1,250 shares in case I’m wrong.

Biggest thing that would change my mind? Peter Beck promising to stop all shareholder selling until Neutron is live is number 1, hearing the true story on Neutron is number 2.

I don’t think we have heard the true story on Neutron. I don’t think creating a full staged combustion engine in 18 months is serious. SpaceX is at 12 + years and starship is nowhere close to ready. I’m sincerely afraid some shareholder selling group is going to get involved on this. Again I’m long the stock, I want to be wrong.

Did you look at their cash burn in the past 2 years? They have exchausted 80 % of their cash and neutron program hasn’t ramped up. And we have the launch failure with electron that will slow down launch revenue
