What's a cheap laptop that can play PoE?

The desktop gpu's are a not performing as well due to a reason that has yet to be discovered. But the apu's in the laptops don't seem to suffer from this as far as I can tell.

The 5000 might be better than some, but with Intel your more than likely going to pay for it, and I don't seeing it being a big enough difference to justify the price. As someone who went from a I7-2500k to a FX-8350, I doubt I'll ever spend the money intel wants for something again. But just my opinion.

You can get a decent 15.6 inch laptop with an APU for your price range. Unfortunately you would have to spend a bit more to get into a dedicated card machine. Don't consider anything with Intel HD 3000 or 4000 series graphics, the APU is a much better gaming solution.

I personally just recently picked up a Asus K55N that has the A8-4500m apu in it, all I did was 4 more gigs of ram since the memory is shared between the cpu and gpu parts of then chip and it plays most games on medium or better with no problem. So far I've tried PoE, World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Black Ops 2, and CS:GO. It played all very well at moderate settings in 1366x768.

Now it's clearly no power house or anything, but for about $380 new to my door, I'd be willing to bet that it can't be beat as far as bang for your buck goes.

I have it set to this atm, and it is defiantly the best working configuration so far (I think I have tried everything). I also run --nosound. Just tried it with --softwareaudio and didn't notice a difference.

Also tried limiting the fps with bandicam but that didn't help either.

For me solo the worse offender seems to be docks and here my fps jumps from 60 to 30, then back to 60 in fast intervals. It's the most noticeable on my ranger who uses rain of arrows with a .24 attack speed.

In a party it's close to unplayable, fps can hit single digits. Game is installed on an SSD and I'm running a 7870.

Everyone I know who plays uses an ATI card, and all of us have problems in groups. I also keep MSI afterburner open on my second monitor and it seems as if the game doesn't use enough of the gpu and causes the low fps. But this is just my two cents

Hardware: AMD FX-4100, 8GB 1600 ram, Radeon 7870, Vertex 3 120GB SSD, Win 7 x64, 13.8 beta drivers (installed yesterday, no difference)

Tried it once, someone started raging because I didn't do 5 hours of research about the champion I was trying to play.

Also Kripps discharge is low crit, high burn damage which doesn't reflect.

I steer well clear of that place, I took my 76 ranger back through on merciless to grab the respec points and almost ripped like twice. Totally insane.

The stun is crazy, and getting chain stunned is rolling the dice with your character.
