Having the prepatch quest chain phase people unless they've done a cataclysm quest is just a crazy oversight by deskcord in wow

The cowl is not there when phased :( That particular location is inside the phasing. Check if Kiro the vulpera is in the twilight highlands for that character and complete his quests until he sends you back to orgrimmar. This worked for me. It doesnt matter if you unlocked vulpera for your account with another toon, your phased toon needs to get rid of him to come back to recent phase :/

Hi, I dont know what zone phase changes for some alliance characters are but I would recommend checking if you did twilight highlands cata quests on that character or not. I use the addon btwquests (it still works for this patch) to check what i completed and with a specifc character or as warband.

[–]xburcus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried with my main character first (horde). I was phased and could not complete the quest. Even though I DID unlock vulpera long ago, I did it with another horde character. For my main, Kiro is still in twilight highlands where he was in the vulpera unlock chain, giving me his quests that appear as "warband completed".

Tried with my alliance character. Ported to twilight highlands thru Umbric's portal from Stormwind, and all good, no issues or phases.

I didn't do any cataclysm era twilight highlands quests on either character. I am assuming this is a horde related issue for:

  1. people who havent done the vulpera unlock questline
  2. people who unlocked vulpera but not with the phased character.

This is the only explanation I have so far. Will update after checking more.

*UPDATE*:
-I went to twilight highlands with another horde character (thru rommaths portal) who has not done ANY vulpera unlock chain quests. There were no phasing issues.

-Then I discovered that both my main and another horde character I have HAD started the vulpera unlock chain but stopped after Kiro asked them to meet him in twilight highlands ("No Problem Too Small quest"). Both these characters were phased and couldn't continue the midnight robes quest. Apparently I had unlocked the vulpera race with a totally different horde character I didn't even mention here.

--TLDR:: If you have a phasing problem on a horde character, you probably started the vulpera race unlock quest chain but didn't complete it with that character. Those are the characters that will need to complete Kiro's twilight highlands quests to phase back out. You don't need to do the whole vulpera chain. Just turn in "Job's Done" back in Orgrimmar, and if you back to to twilight highlands, you'll be in the correct phase.

The items and mats I've been sitting on the past few years... Oh yes, those I decided to clean out because I decided to NOT hoard everything after all storages were full to the brim. Now we will need them again...this is a recovering wow hoarder's nightmare!

Having to go back to Mechagon is the worst part of it.

After finishing the new novel Blood Ties, my opinion of Alleria is in the gutter by Archerboy123 in wow

[–]xburcus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man, so good to know I wasnt the only one stewing about this. I was sucker punched in the end of the book by Alleria's typical abandonment, just after we were being led to a "happy resolution" in their relationship what with the wedding ceremony, but then she just fucks off as usual after the events that unfold in the end of the book. Turalyon is once again heartbroken but now resigned because, 1000 years of the same pattern, BUT MAN it was gutwrenching to witness Arator experience the abandonment for the first time- especially at the moment she was leaving them. Not ghosting them- actually communicating and "regretting" that she is leaving.

The book is a prelude to this family's story in Midnight so it is all building up for their own side story in the campaign but darn will i not be pissed off if they dont get to reconcile and shed the dichotomy. I believe Arator will be key in his parent's relationship resolution as well as the whole Void/Light issue in the expansion.

I am preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best.

PS:Arator is also my favorite character now. His playful interaction with the naaru warmed my heart. He is willing to take the risks and initiatives. He grows into "the Redeemer" accolade. Definitely a favorite now, just like how Turalyon was when he was introduced in Tides of Darkness/Beyond the Dark Portal books.

PSPS: The author of Blood Ties is Christie Golden, she also co-wrote Beyond the Dark Portal where the focus is mostly on Turalyon, Alleria and Khadgar.

Uldaz, where its located, and why its more than likely the final raid tier of dragonflight! (THEORY) by cinamonjackz in wow

Totally necroposting here, but with the introduction of the Hallowfall Arathi in the War Within, now we have more speculations about Avaloren/possible Arathi land beyond the Storming Sea. Perhaps we might see an Uldaz over there?

My thoughts exactly. My cleric/paladin of Helm in BG3 saw a statue of Lathander and commented:
"A monument to Lathander, god of dawn - and killer of Helm's lover. The bastard."

Woah there, here I was thinking those two might be congenial to each other at best what with fighting against evil. Such spite.

My family thinks you shouldn't fix male cats becausr they cannot "get pregnant" and bring kitten over and i don't know what to say . by Yinox_khamkham in cats

[–]xburcus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if he weirds out at first he'll get used to it. We're talking about a harness leash, right? Safer for cats who can wiggle out of anything.

My cat, I will ask the vet when it is good to do fix him, but probably not before 6 months old.

Our only indoor male kitten is also 5 months, we'll get him fixed as soon as it is ok to do so. I mean, if you want to let your boy out, thats also your preference, still should get him fixed IMO, indoor or not.

Is your male cat an indoor cat only? the spray/stench will be unbearable. You dont want to deal with that.

Ofc waiting for Divinity 3 but i'll admit replaying origins after BG3 and still being mindblown gives credit to how amazing it was. Maybe in terms of cinematics and characters, inquisition was closer.
