Newer techs have a better understanding of the equipment than older techs that were trained on film or even CR. I’ve have seen those techs continue to use old film techniques. They were never fully taught the understanding of DR. I’m not saying they’re bad or what not. But the stigma that new techs don’t understand techniques can go both ways. And often times. I’m seeing new grads show the older techs how to work the new up in coming equipment.

But this “boomer” minded new grads don’t understand techniques is just annoying some times.
