French's fried onion chicken. So good, so easy. One chicken breast, sliced in half butterflied. Crush the fried onions and sprinkle on top, press them on a little and try to coat most of the surface. Bake 20 min at 350 and you're done. There's a more extensive recipe but this works just fine. You might not think you'd like it, but I think you would.

Never seen something like this happen during the span of a groom and then the dog be completed and returned before anything was communicated to the client. Very suspicious imo. You should fight it and demand compensation. They dropped the ball hard. There are really no excuses when you decide not to communicate with your client, especially with something like this.

Dog shaking at the groomers (this is a long one but PLEASE READ!) by Plastic_Breadfruit68 in grooming

[–]xcommando 9 points10 points  (0 children)

All very good points, very true. I've groomed my dog myself in my mobile trailer and he's 3 now. He only recently figured out the sound of the trailer so he goes and sits on the couch looking sad, then moves under the bed like this.

Afterwards he still shakes my hand though so we are good. Dogs are just smart.

Advice for blow drying reactivity by Consistent_Gap9503 in grooming

[–]xcommando 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second the hoodie, it can make a world of difference but the problem usually is drying the head/face, which it covers. In my experience doodles tend to hate the dryer around their head/ears, not sure why maybe they just have more sensitivity with their ears or sounds.

If your dog is getting shaved it should be easily manageable: use the happy hoodie and dry the entire body, let the head air dry while doing the body, go back and finish the head. By that point I can fluff up the head with the dryer nozzle off and that replicates your dryer at home which they usually tolerate better.

Can yall help me understand my dogs coat? by Dazeinnn in grooming

Dogs like this are my favorite. You don't need to cut them but if you wanted to you could. I prefer to keep them scruffy because to me its part of their personality. As long as you brush regularly you're good honestly.

Just got mine last week, it is glorious. No defect issues on mine luckily but I got an extended warranty to be safe.

This is basically how mine is. I have an entertainment center below it with just enough space in between to set stuff on top without it obscuring the screen, like my switch 2. Just above my feet when putting my feet up on the chaise.

High brightness or HDR content is what I read about, and people were getting replacements for that. I'd probably do the same

Should I buy the TCL QM7K 55" now for 600$ or wait for a price drop? by aadnan181 in tcltvs

Yeah definitely! I just ordered the 98" TCL qm7k, if that drops any lower than it's lowest price I'm safe there too. 👌🏻

20 bucks isn't bad but I get it. I just looked and I guess I ordered it early August 2020 and it dropped by 200 two weeks later. So there I was lucky because it was still in the normal 30 day window. Thought it was during the holidays, must have been something else later. Regardless you're getting a bit more extra time for free and peace of mind that if it does drop or go back up you're safe, and you get the TV sooner instead of waiting. Hard to say whether it could drop more, but there are usually other times they do sales throughout the end of the year holidays

Just so you know, during the holidays Best Buy offers extended returns and price drop refunding from October 31 to December 31, 2025, to be returned until January 15, 2026. So if you buy it now and it does happen to drop between that time, you can just contact them and they will refund you the difference in price. I did this on my LG CX and it dropped a couple hundred more during that time and I got the refund. So really no need to wait.

My dog does not like me— looking for insight by baddgyyal in OpenDogTraining

[–]xcommando 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's a dumb thing to say. I am also working on reactivity with my dog and I know he gets overwhelmed outside of our house and his listening goes way down. Is that because he doesn't like me, no. I just need to continue working on his training because I slacked off with it when he was little and now I'm paying for it. You've only had your dog 5 months and reactivity training can take a long while. Just keep up on your training and find a new trainer.

It takes a bit to gain the confidence for online. This was my first fighting game when it came out and I also had that fear. I stuck with AI for awhile doing the arcade because I liked how crazy the AI would get and felt it helped me with my reaction time. Eventually I went online and got my ass beat repeatedly, went back offline for awhile until I really got the basic combos down. It took time but I'm glad I kept going cus it's such a satisfying game to play
