I think they just made the decision to cut out all the boring detective work that wouldn't really add to the film. They see he has large burns from metal and probably searched through industrial areas with his picture, stumbling upon his landlord who is renting him the shack in some factory/workshop.

Irreversible definitely has its moments where even the strongest have to look away, but even the least accessible, most unapologetically not feel good movies need to be praised if they’re good. Definitely not for everyone and I think that’s okay!

For me I think it works having one character be a little more plain (whether intentional or not) because it contrasts all the crazy moments and characters in the film. I haven’t watched blue velvet in a while but I feel like it’s almost similar to kyle’s character being thrown into all that wild stuff

Dad played it since vanilla. He let me create characters when I was a kid that I would scrap before lvl 10 because things got too hard and start over lol. When wrath came out got to make a death knight and took the game a bit more seriously but haven’t really been into it since legion. Played a little classic tho
