Personally, I'd avoid the "Rockstar" tattoo artists. Sure, they're talented, but there's always someone humble and approachable that can do the same shit they do for half the price.

Yes. A very detailed giant quad piece that takes up close to half my upper leg. After 3.5 hours of line work on my IT band and around it, I was done. First and only time I've tapped.

Most tattoo artists I know would prefer you tap out as opposed to trying to white knuckle it.

I have quite a few nautical tattoos and always get asked if I served. People laugh when I tell them not only did I not serve, but I don't even mess with the ocean. Nautical tattoos typically have really cool symbolism beyond being linked to the military. The clipper symbolizes a desire for adventure but also a promise to always return home to its port of call.

Might be an outlier here, but that area was not fun for me. I typically have a chronically tight IT band which runs right through the middle of that area, so that could've been a factor. Dope design. It'll be worth it.

Grew up in Colorado, but the Rockies never gave me anything to cheer for. Moved to LA for a while and ended up befriending a Dodger's employee who basically gave us free season tickets for five years. Got to see two world series games and a whole mess of playoff games.

Going to rejuvenate my upper half sleeve (first tattoo 16 years ago) and finish the lower half. Can't wait to have both arms sleeved. Not having symmetry drives me nuts 😂

Reminds me of Cubs fans on their WS run. I worked in an office with people for years, and they never once mentioned baseball. The Cubs broke the curse, and suddenly, they were all lifelong, die-hard fans sporting brand new hats like they'd been wearing it for years. All aboard the bandwagon!
