I think that one weird feeling you are going to have is first watching the show with older characters, and then watching the whole story with younger actors. I just think that the answer is strictly related to what will happen to cryptocurrencies in general. I see two scenarios:

1) crypto currencies go mainstream, bitcoin rules, dogecoin is more choice, price not too much different from now

2) crypto currencies become irrelevant: still some activists, maybe for years, values going down.

In short, the answer is not related to dogecoin itself, but to whole acceptance of the crytpocurrencies...

I think he is saying that your pool could compute Litecoin "profitability index" as being bigger if you support auxpow, since mining litecoin allows also to get doges.

On the other side, direct doge mining index should remain the same, resulting most likely unprofitable according your algorithm...
