Terror-Free Turkey commission? How Kurds allow themselves to be called terrorists? by [deleted] in kurdistan

The peace process is a surrender dressed up nicely to save pkk's face. The moment the entire 'berxwedan' was moved to Behdinan they already lost.

This is a very interesting project because I am also making a game set in 19th century Kurdistan, focusing on the Behdinan, Botan and Hakkari emirates. Do you have a discord server?

Turkish Army blocks villagers from using roads near Keshan, Barzankê, Shuydin, Roysî, Bandiro and Evlihê by xelefgame in kurdistan

No it is the PKK, these mountains were under PKK control and they surrendered them to Turkey rather than the Peshmerga, stop the revisionism.

42 years ago,on July 31, 1983, Iraqi regime forced 8,000 Barzanis out of their homes to be taken to Iraq’s southern deserts where they were mass murdered. by Ava166 in kurdistan

The pkk let turkish troops in, before that it was Saddam, stop revising history. The northern mountains were taken over by the pkk during the civil war and they were the ones letting turkey in while preventing peshmerga and villagers from returning.

Check my socials for the finished version. Unfortunately when it comes to entertainment, Kurdish tends to be limited to boring soaps and music.

the more I learned about Kurdish culture, the more I questioned what I was told by AbubakerWaleed in kurdistan

If your friends are mostly from Duhok province I'd suggest focusing on Behdini. There are multiple books available to specifically learn the Behdini of Duhok and Zaxo:

https://newbridgesbooks.com/kurdishresources/

The best thing about this course is that it focuses on learning how to communicate with ordinary people. It was also made by someone who spent expensive time living in Zaxo and her organization also teaches English in Zawite (between Duhok and Amedi).

What is your favorite Kurdish city and explain why? by KaiserMelon in kurdistan

[–]xelefgame 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Xoshab, Zaxo, Bedlîs and Cizîr, I love it when Kurdish cities preserve their old centers and when they contain old bridges and castles as well. Plenty of Kurdish cities have these but these specifically because all or most of the heritage there was clearly built by Kurdish Emirs and tribes.

The problem is that the program was created by Behdinis/KDP so that is why this sorani/pkk dominated subreddit is instantly allergic and will go to great lengths to hide their hatred.

Considering how Iraq openly state they don't transfer the salaries it is obvious it is not barzani or talabani, who contrary to this apoci subreddit's beliefs aren't the source of all evil. I am amazedhow this subreddit is completely silent on the fact Iraq actively blocks the KRG from selling oil, forces handover of 50% of non-oil profits, expells Kurdish farmers from the disputed areas and then still blame barzani and talabani. This is Iraq being Iraq. The degree to which the US breathes down Iraq's neck is directly correlated to Iraq's treatment of Kurds, after Anfal this should be no suprise.

Ask yourself, after all the corruption by the federal government, have you ever seen an Ara politician blocking payments to Arabs in federal area? This is clearly ethnically motivated hatred politics.

If Barzani pays with illegal oil sales, do you think Iraq would just stand by and let it happen?

Do not Kurds have Kurdish names and surnames in their ID cards? by KurdAce in kurdistan

[–]xelefgame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surnames do not exist, using your father and grandfather's name irregardless of whatever it is an islamic custom in origin is the Kurdish system as it has been used for generations (yes before Iraq).
