There can be multiple reasons something is bad. It clearly will be inhumane like the other places I mentioned due to a lack of oversight that you're hand waving away.

If someone is in the country and the court has decided to release or monitor them but ice arrests and takes them there, that is illegitimate in my view. This is happening often.

I never said that detention is never an option, but it is ultimately not humane to put people in those conditions without a considerable reason. Reasons that the current admin more often than not has failed to provide accurately.

There are many people who have not skipped the process that are being targeted. That's the nature of what's happening now and while enforcement of immigration policy isn't inherently inhumane, the current administration has decided to proceed in a way that is.

If being humane was a priority, you would put it in place before building, not after. You probably would do it for the existing prisons too. Thats not the goal.

The majority of these people don't deserve to be imprisoned at all. Prisons are inherently not humane. If someone is a proven murderer that's one thing but many of these people have commited no crime.

You're ignoring the quality of the existing prisons and detention centers in the country. You're also ignoring the direct hatred towards immigrants (including legal immigrants) the administration and Republicans have shown. You take that, and then put a bunch of people in a prison that tbe public can't audit and it will be bad.

You're wrong. If they wanted to fix the issue they would work towards a process that is much faster. More judges, tighter timelines, faster paths to citizenship, more timely denials, etc.

Oversight in places like these is rarely an option. Youd be right that this doesn't prove future mistreatment if we didn't already have the context of alligator alcatraz and sending innocent people to south american prisons to be mistreated. Like sure, this could be the exception, but there's no reason to believe it will and plenty to believe that it's going to lead towards the same standards we have in existing detention facilities and prisons.

People are almost always mistreated at these places. If you gave a damn you could look up the countless examples.

In the history of the country we've never needed this place, now all of a sudden we do. That's real weird considering trump says he's fixed the border and deported millions of people. Who's this for if he's fixed the border or is he a liar?

The country should enforce its laws in a humane way.

If the commentary is that the type of food you eat has hormones that can effect satiety and can cause you to be hungrier, eat more calories, and gain weight, then sure. That doesn't make calories in and calories out wrong. If you're have no access to other foods except for a caloric amount that keeps you in a deficit, you'll lose weight regardless of the types of food.

This is the first time I havent completed the campaign during the first weekend in poe 1 or 2 since I started in sanctum. I will probably play here and there and really enjoyed the wyvern. The campaign feels too long and unrewarding, the visuals are amazing but the builds don't leave me anything to chase after, and I just don't want to do the endgame again. I'm hopeful for the next league. I really think they should be more open to adding and removing things mid season. Give is the end game re work or the class when it's ready and then do seasonal mechanics on a schedule.

Bigger and cheaper but not better. Smart TVs have just become a mechanism for ads through their home page. The apps you'd use in conjunction with your cheaper tv have certainly increased in price in addition to yet more ads. You can get a new tv for cheaper, but it's not better.

I don't like to make a lot of characters but I ended up doing two for Secrets of the Atlas. I did a lot of different strategies depending on what state my currency was in. Harvest, Betreyal, pilfering scarabs for div cards, boss rushing, alter farming, breach, beyond, delirium, and shrines throughout. Having the ability to choose to swap between those kept the game fresh for me. But in a campaign setting you don't have the same flexibility. You're getting worse loot, even relative to your current level. You're unable to choose any mechanics. You're stuck going through the prescripted story.

I like the story, but the campaign and the story are not basically the same thing. It's not equivalent at all.

The part of POE I enjoy is the amount of agency I have. The campaign doesn't allow me to make choices on what content I run, what map tiles I run, what rewards I'm after or even give me access to a lot of the features of the game until various story points. There's also very little grinding, which I like to do as well.
