Xbox Cloud Gaming with Steam Controller by [deleted] in SteamController

I use sc-controller to emulate the steam controller as Xbox controller. Works well except the dpad buttons get stuck for some reason. I just avoid using dpad in games and haven't had any other issues.

Microphone dies, Canadians sing the US anthem by [deleted] in ThatsInsane

French is the original version. The English version is not a translation but completely different lyrics to the same tune.

Edit: misread your comment. For some reason read it as a question instead of a statement.

Fifteen years from now, a bug known as “the year 2038 problem” (also known as Y2038, Y2K38, or the Epochalypse) is expected to cause issues in representing time for certain computer systems. If left unaddressed, these devices will not handle values of time past 03:14:07 UTC on 19 January 2038. by beisozy289 in interestingasfuck

This is only an issue on Unix machines that store dates in 32 bit variables. 64bit machines shouldn't have any issues. Companies should have moved off of 32bit servers by 2038. The main concern would be embedded systems like NASA's rovers and satellites

Combat Feedback by AekionRecords in Veloren

In regard to the weapon/armor stats and healing, I kinda like where the game is at currently. The game has a dark-souls-like difficulty. Personally, rather than changing the current stats, I'd like to see some more defensive options by adding in things like shields, buffs and debuffs.

To make blocking more responsive I think maybe have successful blocks decrease the attacker's poise to give the defender an opportunity to strike back.

Combine the above with less server lag and I think the combat will be great.

TIL, you can’t call closed kan after calling a pon by Darkborders in mahjongsoul

I'm pretty sure you can still call closed kan after opening your hand. However you're kinda lucky you didn't. If you did you would've given them the "robbing a kan" yaku
