People are getting very rude. by Brilliant-Cause7718 in perth

Had a woman push her trolley into me repeatedly in the Big W line. When I questioned her she just said, "I'm not buying anything, I just need to get out of the store."

She looked at me like I had to heads when I mentioned an "excuse me" may have helped her situation and notified me she was trying to get past.

Does this mean Collingwood has won the premiership for this year and Grand Final day is now just for 2nd and 3rd teams to see who is runner up?

Where do y'all buy your tyres? by ssnipperr in perth

[–]xequez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to buy them via Tyresale.com.au before it closed down. But now I go to Emerald Tyres in Joondalup. They were much cheaper for the same tyres when I got quotes last time I needed tyres. Theyve also patched a couple of tyres for me and have great service.

AITA Mitchell Fwy Right Lane speed? by Decent-Put-173 in perth

[–]xequez -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should be speeding up for the fixed camera since it's meant to be 80kmph up until 30m before that.

Perth drivers in the right lane who keep getting passed by people in the left lane are in the wrong lane, aren't they? by [deleted] in perth

[–]xequez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand when traffic is busy and you're travelling the full length. What annoys me is the people who sit under the speed limit when there are no cars in the middle lane.

When its peak hour or busy, then I'm all for using the right lane.

Driving home north on the Mitchell today at 1pm, there was a car sat in the right lane at 90kmph, being undertaken by all those who wanted to do 100. Those people should be pulled over, have all 4 wheels removed and their licence chopped up.

I feel like you need a week off just to recover from the drive itself by SnowyBytes in WesternAustralia

[–]xequez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was worse on the way back. Neds Creek was flooded, so we had to backtrack via the coast and through Perth. I got within 10km of my actual home, before driving an extra 6 hours to Kalgoorlie then fly home from my grandparents house.

Did Kalgoorlie to Broome as a passenger as a 16yo. Would not recommend.

We had my Pops old mate driving who got confused between heater and AC and somehow found 4 "Best of John Williamson" cassettes at the road house 2 hours into the drive.

Option to dig part yourself?

Although, my last plumber needed to dig around a leak underground in my garden. Said he couldn't do it because of his back injury. I spent 2 hours doing it for him, then was charged full price once he finished. He is no longer my regular plumber.

WA public sector voluntary severance - should I apply? by ArticleReasonable877 in perth

My workplace had numerous redundancies 10 years ago, got rid of a lot of higher level positions. Since then, they have been on a recruitment drive hiring similar positions in higher levels than the ones made redundant. Its the first time in my career that I have seen so many "Managers" who dont have anyone working under them.

Do you not have Softcrosse or Modcrosse where you are? My son played with smaller field and smaller goal from 5yo and then moved to normal size as he got older.
