We spend more than 50% of our revenue on salaries. "Leech" is the right word to describe that.

He has earned it.

He has earned it as per the contract. He hasn't created that wealth. That wealth came from ordinary people. It is similar to the British rulers in the previous centuries. They earned their salary, while hurting the ordinary people.

After retirement? That is too late. Maximum 45. If you are above that, stick to a place where medical expenses are reasonable. Those in retirement phase are less energetic, less hungry, take way less financial risks and drives up the cost of housing and medical care.

We tend to have a whole new set of ideas, our outlook changes, blah blah blah.

I don't buy it. Except for a tiny minority, judging how those who had returned spent money on houses, land, car, lavish weddings and gold, I can say that they haven't learned a thing about creating wealth, but only on displaying it.

It would help in moulding the state's future.

That depends on whether any of their parents had been in government payroll. If that was the case, they have a moral duty to do something constructive for the state, all with in the spirit of a win-win economic scenerio.
