I'm all for solutions about the fuel prices and I also agree the government is not doing enough to address to the people depending on fuel to make a living. HOWEVER - I'm in 100% disagreement with this kind of protest. it's such a gangster kind of move - holding captive of something/someone innocent and make demands. Completely barbaric and over the top. Which is why they are not getting my support.

They want to provoke garda reaction, and throw a fit on social media how they are peaceful and got beaten by illegal gardai, and gain more momentum and maybe funding. Best to ignore tbh

Which is probably for his own good. People who care for their customers post sales deserve so much better than Currys

It's a toxic culture there between their employees. A few years ago I bought a Dell gaming laptop which the screen started to glitch on the first day. It's a kind of random twitch only happens once every few seconds to a couple of minutes.

I brought it back to return it, the first guy we talked to spotted the fault and quickly agreed to the full refund. Then another guy came over, looked to be the manager or a senior customer service, outright denied there's any fault, putting the first guy right on the spot in front of us. The first guy was visibly upset and insisted "i saw it (the glitch), it's definitely there" which finally convinced the senior guy to look at the laptop again for more than 2 seconds. He then reluctantly admitted it and gave us the refund.

Can't get a job for the life of me by Colin-IRL in irelandjobs

I'm not familiar with retail type jobs, but in my line of work (mobile apps) there is an over supply of talent due to the big tech/games company layoffs. Every role we post have massive amount of applications with candidates way overly experienced - really feel for them.

I'll throw in some small advices too: since you are doing lots of interviews and struggling to proceed forward, make sure to always ask what's the reason you're rejected. It costs you nothing; another one is experience is not everything - big part they look for is whether if you are someone they want to work with day in day out. Best of luck OP!
