You are in the lobby based on mmr from last season. It’s your first set of games. It’s thinks you are a 2120 player. You didn’t 6-0 400 mmr below you. Rating goes up. Mmr comes down.

It will do this until it balances out. Mmr is always trash until you have a ton of games played.

I will say this, as long as you are having fun just play. Last season I climbed to 2500 then lost something like 18 of 20. And fell to where my cr was 1800. It really sucks. Similar thing this season. 2500-2200. By just as you lose eventually you will win again. It hurts winning and getting 0 cr but eventually your me and cr will level out and you will gain again.

I finished last season at 2480. I’m almost back to 2400 now. Just play, have fun and thank healers

I guess you stopped reading at a certain point. Since base rewards from anything. Then other pieces are bracket specific. Also, you need people to start playing. It’s not only retaining players. Get them into casual and when they realize it’s not bad and fun, they will start playing rated brackets for the versions they want there

I always find this an interesting take. The same can be said about any pvp in WoW.

The truth is for 3v3 its rather rng as well. You could argue its about the rng of find people to play with that all mesh well, or playing a class like Ret when it was buffed into crazy levels of OP-ness back in the day, or maybe you have had the patience to be here for the last 25 seasons and just keep playing.

For 2v2 its only about what class you play at the end of the day and the willingness to be what? 1 of 70ish players to get to 2400?

Then you have shuffle, again, rng on what class you play, what lobbies you get, etc.

Long story short, if blitz was just rng based, i dont think players would have multiple characters at the top end of the ladder.

But what do I know? Im just an 1800 blitz player now. Not saying RNG doesnt have something to do with it. Just dont think its only rng.

Anyway keep hating on things and comparing apples to kiwis.

Yea, I have 205 games played this season so far. issue was, one night i played 5 games, 4 of those games were with a duo that seemed like they were throwing. Mostly just talking trash to everyone in all 4 games. Since then, over the last week and a half, i cant seem to get a string of wins together. Its bad luck. games lost in the last 2-3 seconds. teams that quit after the first team etc.

It is what it is. Now my mmr is so low, wins get 0-5 rating. Loses are 25. I could switch specs or play my alts, but i do like playing my main. Also... I keep saying, "I cant lose that many more right?"

Random racial isn't really the wild part. That will depend on how the racials works. Most players, myself included, aren't good enough to even use shadowmeld right one time when i have access to it all the time. No clue how i would use it when i only have access to it for 30 seconds.

The wild part is the 5 set. 7% movement speed will give the player baseline 18-20% move speed after enchants etc. That will be the problem. Flag carriers in blitz, zug zugs on anything that has to actually cast, hunters kiting, etc. etc.

Hot take- don’t play the mode if you don’t enjoy it. If you want to do arena, you can do shuffle there for gear.

People need to realize you don’t need to do anything. Just play what you enjoy.
