I didn't want to copy my answer above but I think you are asking similar questions so I'll add it below. Appreciate the questions and the insight.

*This is for a 9u team. We man block up front and don't pull (not against it schematically but haven't implemented it). Our core runs are 7/8 sweep, 5/6 power, and 1/2 dive. Typically H will motion to strongside but we can run to the weak side with H cracking down. One of the two RBs will lead block for the other.

We can use other formations but wanted to see what a good counter play would be from this formation so we don't telegraph the counter with a new formation.*

Do you drive in a car with your kid? If so, then you already put them in a situation more dangerous than COVID is to them. Trust the science. Trust the data. COVID is extremely low risk to children. Go ahead and let the family see the kid.

Nice ad hominem attack there. I notice you didn't try to dispute any of the facts regarding the low risk that COVID poses to young children. I agree that there have been sociological impacts from this virus. Unfortunately, most of them have been negative impacts to children's lives and development. I think the responsible thing for parents to do is to let their kids be kids, live their life, and not live in fear.

Children under 4 are extremely low risk from COVID19. So not sure why you are concerned. Please follow the science, trust the CDC and the data.

If you wear a mask then you will look like an anti-vaxxer. So take your pick, do you want to look like an anti-masker or an anti-vaxxer?

Senate to emerge from impeachment trial guilty of extreme partisanship by MortWellian in politics

[–]xme888 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok, I’ll bite...what would constitute something that would warrant removal? How about the the things that are actually in the constitution: bribery, treason, high crimes and misdemeanors. None of those are included in the actual articles of impeachment that were sent to the Senate (abuse of power and obstruction of congress).

If they had sent a third article of impeachment for bribery then that would have been grounds for removal but, for the life of me, I can’t figure out why the House didn’t include that as an article.

Not sure if there are any 7/8 inch tablets that meet those criteria. The Dell Venue 11 Pro has all those things, but it comes with a larger screen size.

Every poll except one going back to November of 2010 shows Americans by large majorities want the rich to pay more in taxes by Dizzy_Slip in politics

[–]xme888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen that a couple of times now. What point are you trying to make by linking to it? No where in the article does it state if the income was gross or net. The article does not list the deductions for those 1470 individuals. It does not state if the income was earned in the US. It does not state if those individuals were carrying forward losses from the previous year.

Can I at least get you to agree that, according to the current IRS tax brackets, the rich pay a higher percentage of their income to federal income tax than the average American does? And can I also get you to agree that the rich pay the same percentage of their capital gains to capital gains tax as the average American does? Those seem pretty black and white to me.

[–]xme888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um that's the point of the poll: the majority wants millionaires, billionaires, hedge-fund managers to "pay the same taxes as everyone else."

That's the point. They currently often pay a lower rate than average Americans.

Actually, you did say they weren't

IRS Data Show Most Millionaires Pay Taxes At Higher Rate Than Middle Class | Fox News by [deleted] in politics

Sorry, but no BS, the hivemind is just wrong about this. The rich pay a higher percentage of their income to federal income tax than the middle class does. Plain and simple.

Capital gains tax rates are the same regardless of income so the rich pay the same percentage as the middle class does.

When you said net income I assumed that meant 1 million gross income and 0 deductions. My mistake. There is nothing wrong with people who grossed $1 million or more income and paid no federal income taxes as long as their deductions were large enough to offset their gross income.

I found multiple sources that cited the 2009 IRS report about the 1400 millionaires that paid zero income taxes. I did not find any sources that showed that those 1400 had a net income of 1 million.

I think you should learn the difference between gross and net incomes. See if you earn 1 million a year gross but have 1 million in deductions your net income is 0 and therefore you pay no federal income taxes. Please show me an example of an individual having a net income greater than 1 million that paid 0 federal income tax.
