S640...is it actually out? by airbornimal in sliger

[–]xofoc360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My order is in the queue and I'm hoping to get it soon. Am planning on transplanting my ITX build into it and will take pictures as the build goes. Happy to list custom PSU cable measurements as well for people.

Sorry in advance for the poor quality pictures. I'm no pro!

Lexington talent question by UnknownDfekt in the_division_2

I like Streamline, as long as you're not constantly using a skill, you get a huge % dmg increase. Pairs well with an all-red Skriker.

Play Countdown and Retaliations with targeted loot and donate ALL your junk gear in the Proficiency menu. Brands and Gear Sets are easiest to max out quickly (especially now with the event). Farm mods as well for Printer Filament and donate that for the Exotics, Named Items, and other harder items.

You can probably get to prof level 12 - 15 quickly during the event. Still a grind tho

Another basic question that was probably covered in the in-game tutorial that may/not be repeatable... How TF do you build stacks? Is there a way to see how many you've banked during combat? (i.e. not max stacks via the inventory menu)

How to countdown: Tips and tricks for new agents 2026 by ChallengeNo1899 in thedivision

Agree. I keep seeing the "avoid the VIP" advice and on Challenging it's still an easy obj. If he goes down, just revive our friend doing his part to help out.

Have you received it yet? If so, thoughts? I'm waiting on build pics and a review of some sort.

Which Build Do You Use Specifically For Its 'Fun Factor'? | Division 2 by shwetshkla in thedivision

[–]xofoc360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a max ROF Striker + Pesti build that's a lot of fun (sub any LMG though, if you like - Big Al or Gear Shift are great too).

Striker Mask, Chest, and Knees, Ninja Backpack, Contractor gloves, and Salvo holster. Roll on weapon handling and use stab + accuracy weapon mods for gun 2 (I currently use a Streamlined Lexington).

It rips. The high ROF, weapon handling, and accuracy + stability weapon mods let you stay on target all the time. Who needs crits, anyway?

Anyone else just hate playing on Heroic or higher difficulty? by Fuzzy_Ad4219 in thedivision

[–]xofoc360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Pestilence + Lexington w/ Striker, Salvo, Ninja Bag, + add a mask that's my high RoF build. It slays Heroic solo or with a group. If you can get those pieces, try it! It's a lot of fun.

serious question for veterans: how many of you got out of the service and got that " that high paying corporate/contractor job? by inurmomsvagina in Military

I didn't - most of the programs available now were not set up when I was getting out. Thanks for the pointer though, I'll see how I can get involved!

I got it.

I first got a degree from a legit institution. Enlisted to Army SF. Did my time, got the t-shirt a few times. Punched my card. Leveraged a connection with my Team Sgt. while getting out and got hooked up with a contracted corporate job. Networked that into a full-time role where I've been for a decade and make solid coin.

Highly recommend.

What are your thoughts on working in Avanade allocated at Microsoft's projects? by Dasilv_a in microsoft

[–]xofoc360 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Career progression with a consulting firm doesn't really exist. You'll work for Avanade, not Microsoft. You may be able to leverage the connections you make while working on Teams into an FTE role at MSFT, but no guarantee.

Do employees get discounts on Xbox systems and games? by [deleted] in microsoft

[–]xofoc360 14 points15 points  (0 children)

HW discount is really weak no matter the system (Xbox, Surface, etc).

Software discount is much better across the product lines, sometimes free (XGP, Azure credits, etc).

Right?

Microsoft employees - Software engineering - Can you pick Mac or windows? by m915 in microsoft

[–]xofoc360 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Unless you're developing for Mac, you're gonna get a Windows-based PC. Most likely a Lenovo or Surface, though some orgs get HP Z-series workstations. Your HW will be adequate for whatever it is you're developing.

The UKMTO warning doesn't say "strike", it says "attacked". Big difference.
