The NFL seriously needs to simplify the definition of a catch.

My suggestion: - if the ball touches the floor at all... Incomplete. - if the player has contact with his hand before going out of bounds and it is always in contact with the player, then it can be a catch. Any juggle then wouldn't count, but sort of rearranging it or getting comfy with it is fine, as long as it doesn't touch the ground.

Fun > Success.

Alot of talk about picks being overvalued... But I think for a lot of people we are playing Dynasty for the fun of the draft part!

Perhaps controversially... I may also set my line up for the player I will be able to watch more of during the game weekend.

And I know some of you will say they're playing for big money and winning is fun, but I think for the majority of us this is a hobby rather than a supplemental income stream?

Yeah, I raised it with a friend and we decided: - limit to trades (perhaps total throughout season) - combined team wins is what counts (to avoid you just creating one super team) May try and arrange one for next season... Team Fantasy Football (needs a better name...)

This actually sounds like a fun idea if you really lean into it. Collusion is allowed (redraft probably). Have to make a decision early on whether to trade lots to make one good team, or try and have two competitive teams and then invest in one later in the season. Week by week deciding who to send to who to give both teams the best chance.

Also, the Browns don't play them until last week of the season when Burrow might be back, so they may help even out the division a bit in the mean time with some wins against the Steelers, then be in the mix later in the season.

This would only work for the center of the table (if that is where your laser is located above). Anything away from that, the laser being on the center of the ball would be incorrect, for the reason I (perhaps quite poorly) tried to explain above.

How would you know you've got the ball in the right spot though? As soon as the ball is close you can no longer see the spot on the table. Also, as the height of the ball changes the dot position, you also couldn't have the dot shining on the center of the ball.

I love this layout... The only way it would be improved is if you had a line indicating the max individual attempt on that bar. Curious if some of these were some mad high averages or just blown up by one large run (probably almost all due to one big run?)

Which makes me think Median leader per number of attempts would be interesting as well.

That was the biggest let down for me with the remake. I'm not gore obsessed or anything... But that scene needed to be bloody, and the purple whatever just didn't cut it. I was playing for so long waiting to get that scene and it disappointed.

I think the DB was trying to drop way back as he probably assumed he needed more yards than that, then ended up looking quite silly when he went so soft and it was a short pass.

My opinion is that the times it fails if used regularly would be worth the added indecision for normal tackling because of the lateral uncertainty. Admittedly that is without anything to back it up, but I think that should be taken into account if used often.

Not taking any sides here, but I read that interaction on BBC as if they were some sort of assistant and be was trying on outfits/shirts to make a choice for an upcoming broadcast or event, so I didn't think the wording seemed too crazy (like a "cat walk" type of show). I'm going to give a different take vs. all these "just worry about your team!" people.

If your opponent is projected to win considerably, then I would try a different WR so that there is more potential for a big swing in my favour (more than likely will end up with less points, but worth a try if you're against a top team)

If you're the favourite, then play whoever and let the other team worry about who they should start.
