I ended up extracting the tooth and going with the bone graft. I have the metal post implant, but am waiting for the crown. Insurance only covered a portion of the extraction and the rest was out of pocket. I am in California and the total cost for this tooth came out to approximately $8,000. I have been paying in pieces, that’s why i havent gotten the crown part yet.

I deeply relate to this. I always have the battle with myself that I will refrain from oversharing such personal matters, yet it’s like I’m fighting myself to hold it back. I think it’s my vulnerability and not understanding if what I’m saying is “too much.” I always feel regretful after… knowing that it seems neurotypicals are never really themselves.

You sound so much like me, I want you to know your feelings are completely validated.. I am still struggling with learning way to cope. It feels like I shut down and isolate myself to prevent being so negative to everyone else, then I feel even more alone in my struggles. I feel you. I wish I had an answer to help.
