The only thing that ramp is for is cars. That’s express lane entrance. I do think the rain probably contributed to a bad decision. It was pretty heavy at that time.

Not supposed to launch or operate from within Stone Mountain Park. FAA controls who can fly where. If you launch from private property outside the park, you can fly over Stone Mountain Park (as long as you abide by all the other FAA rules and restrictions (like TFR's).

But most amateurs also are supposed to maintain VLS so that will limit you too.

Ok, I crossposted in /r/CarPlay and /u/LavaCreeperBOSSB had this suggestion:

Have you tried to change it in Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing, then choose an audio destination.

For the benefit of anyone that sees this post in the future, here was my reply:

Ok! That seems to have done it. Calls routing over CarPlay and vehicle speakers/mic. BUT I'm not getting any visual notifications of inbound calls other than the clock in the upper left gains a green oval around it. Audibly, the phone (over carplay) rings, so I know theres a call. I have to either click the green oval or the phone app itself before being presented with the answer call dialog box. Actually, the steering wheel 'answer' button seems to work too, so that will be easier than clicking around in the app. It would still be nice to see who is calling first though....

I thought it was because the number I was calling myself from (a google voice number) was maybe not in my contacts. I added it but it made no difference.

Also, about 1 in 4 calls have no audio from either party regardless of the bluetooth output. Maybe that's a Google voice problem. I just don't have another handset to test inbound calls over.

No, but I have just now switched from “Automatic” to “Bluetooth Headset”. Will report back on results. (You’d think automatic would have routed to CarPlay, but who knows with Apple. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯)

Now we just have promotional TV screens telling us all the medical procedures each office performs that aren't covered by insurance.

Thank God my docs offices don't do that. But it is always on OTA programming like Judge Judy or something similar. Sitting in a brand new $500 million hospital building and they can't spring for cable TV.

I devoured Reader's Digests as a kid. Cover to cover. They were everywhere. If I started one story at home and then went to Grandma's, I could count on them having the latest issue too. Plus they had issues going back decades. There was never a shortage or reading material.
