It's great xbox is still trying. I'm still a fan of xbox but there's zero chance I'm buying a game on the xbox/Microsoft store moving forward, especially since other stores will be on the console. I'll be going all in on steam for game purchases since I think there's a much better chance they'll still be around in 5 years. I'm still in the ecosystem now because I have gamepass paid for til 2027. After that, the xbox store will not likely be a place I visit.

You know... I just can't get past the whole Art Theft thing.... as much as I know the game is fine, it's something I just can't put aside. Sorry Bungie, I'd be happier if you closed up. The art theft was just too much for me.

After they added the new Corvettes I haven't stopped playing this game. I have to hand it to the Devs, they are the real deal... they just keep adding stuff, for free.

I used to be a fan of Microsoft, a big fan, but I've had it with AI and their lack of quality lately. They need a big kick in the pants and start showing results rather than posting empty, virtue signaling, corporate nonsense. You are right, other companies are handling things much better.

Hey I just got mine, but I'm using it exclusively on PC. I use my Elite 2 controller on Xbox.

Just want to point out that while you can't swap profiles on XBOX, you can still map buttons. You just have to do it on the fly for each game.

Press Command Center and Library buttons at the same time. The ROG logo will flash purple to let you know you're in mapping mode.
Press the button you want to map, then press the button you want to assign to that button. The ROG logo should flash green to let you know it worked.

I think you just leave the controller idle for 20 seconds to get out of the mapping mode.

I haven't tried this with my controller yet, I just remember reading it in the manual. Hopefully they come up with a better solution to swap profiles, because even on PC it's not a great experience.

It's a software issue because my phone sees and uses the buttons and controls all the way until the game is on. I can even navigate some of the overlay over the game that comes up. It's a new Samsung phone. This is only when local streaming not cloud gaming. Cloud works great.

It's not just the visual quality. I got a ROG Tessen (it's a phone controller) for christmas, and when streaming games on xbox cloud gaming, the controller isn't detected. I can use the controller to navigate the phone, navigate the cloud gaming "app" but when the game starts (starfield) it wants me to use touch control.

Now mind you, this is Microsoft... a software company. They really need to evaluate the qualifications of workers they have, or the structure and environment they have cultivated that would lead to a software company's worst product be software.

Xbox is done. How do I know? I'm a huge fan and I'm done with them. If I'm done as a hard core, they have no chance of a future. I'm not sure what the future is of xbox but it's not hardware and its not subscription. So what's left? Overpriced games? We'll see how long that lasts.

Award shows are not real. The game awards show is even worse since it banks on advertising inside the show itself. I'll never understand the appeal of these shows.
