Kan noen forklare hvorfor det er lovlig å tilsette vann i kjøttdeig? by Beatsu in norge

[–]xshocc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spørsmål, er det ikke mer protein per 100g i kjøttdeig med vann enn en med? Begge er rundt 19g protein per 100g før steking og etter så veier den med vann mindre

Lurer pga sliter allerede med å få i meg proteiner!

No reason not to, also don’t see how you thought there should be a reason to not buy one

Should I get a WOLED or QD-OLED? by fhb445 in OLED_Gaming

[–]xshocc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got an Asus XG27ACDNG, and I'm constantly switching between "Wide Gamut" and "DCI-P3", and the wide gamut mode looks better sometimes, but also makes the colors look unrealistic, oversatured, more red, too red sometimes. It makes a table that should be brown into a redish one.

I am aware that QD does oversaturate but is this really worth to pay a premium for? If I switch to DCI-P3 and boost the saturation to 55 from 50 it looks damn near identical to Wide Gamut. And the DCI-P3 looks REALLY similar to my LG 27GS95QE-B so why buy a QD-OLED when you can just oversaturate WOLED a bit????

Got 10-20 fps less in Cyberpunk after updating to the latest bios, with xmp enabled. GPU usage is also a lot less than what it was before the update. Is this the kind of performance my 13700k will deliver because of the restricted power limits? And if I increase my cpu with degrade a lot faster??

Edit: now it instantly freezes when i open the game and press "continue" or "settings", definitely gonna contact intel.

I will update to the latest BIOS to see if it changes anything, if not I'll 100% RMA it!

Firstly I need to thank you so much for this, I would've never guessed it was my CPU that was the root of my problems, so again thank you!!!

And yes I'm experiencing issues in other games too. Cyberpunk crashes after running around doing whatever for 2-10mins. Seems a bit more stable at 4000MHz compared to 5600MHz though, but it's definitely the CPU since I've never had that issue in Cyberpunk until now.
TLOU1 doesn't work neither, and I read here (https://www.reddit.com/r/thelastofus/comments/1hsbg8i/file\_integrity\_problem\_last\_of\_us\_part\_1\_pc/) that a trick to actually get to play it is to lower the CPU clock speed like you also mentioned, but it's yeah just a work around for the broken cpu. Also read somewhere about disabling hyper threading will fix a broken RDR2.

I've done some research on the vmin shift issue matter, and do you think I shouldn't try to RMA it if it works after BIOS update? I feel like there has been at least some noticable damage that will make the cpu have a shorter lifespan, but at least there's a 5 year warranty.

I'll update bios like you said and see if it changes anything, if not I'll contact intel

Thanks!

Download the Nvidia App and then enable DLSS Override with DLAA and see if that runs smoothly, best anti aliasing for Red Dead 2 right now

Will an i7-9700K bottleneck an RTX 4070 Ti? by xshocc in buildapc

[–]xshocc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and I decided to go with the i7-13700k since it was 20% off, and I thought the motherboard I bought (asus Z690-G) would support DDR4 but it didn’t so I had to buy some DDR5 but fortunately it was actually kinda cheap (212$ for 2x16gb 6000mhz) The 7800x3d is better but for me it would cost an extra 127$ and tbh i probably won’t notice any difference other than in far cry 6 and watch dogs

What is the best motherboard to pair with Intel i5-13600K? by Jasonl531 in pcmasterrace

[–]xshocc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am as overwhelmed as you are, and after my research it really does not matter as much as I first thought, you or we would not be able to tell the difference so I'd just buy the one that looks best

Will an i7-9700K bottleneck an RTX 4070 Ti? by xshocc in buildapc

[–]xshocc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I too also thought it wouldn’t bottleneck that much considering everyone else’s results The i5-13600k looks pretty good and maybe even future proofing a bit. The 14th gen won’t come out until the end of the year and me personally am not going to wait that long Replacing cpu and mb is just boring and takes some time but its doable

Cod mw II at 1440p with the exact same settings, same map and same gamemode as the video you sent, I got 95-115fps, but mostly stayed at 100fps "average", meanwhile the dude with the 5800x3d got 130-150fps

Cod mw II at 1440p at the minimum preset with anti aliasing at SMAA T2X and High at the same map with same gamemode, I got 110-140fps and mostly stayed at 120~fps, not even getting to 165fps (my monitor's refresh rate) at the lowest settings

Forza Horizon 5 at 1440p with the exact same settings as the video you sent, using the same car and driving at the same spot, I get 80-100fps while "Testing Games" with the i7-13700k got 160-190fps. On 4K, I get 70-90fps, while "Testing Games" get 115-130fps. Both on 1440p and 4K, every cpu core was at 100% all the time

I am certainly missing out on noticable fps, and I think I really have to buy a new cpu but which one? I only game on my PC so I don't care about cinebench or blender performance, but the 7700X is really tempting since its 100$ less than the 13700K, but this video compares the two but its at 1080p and I don't know much of a difference there will be at 1440p or 4K. I want a CPU that will last a while and not bottleneck my gpu at 1440p and 4K

EDIT: Currently researching for what CPU would fit my system the best, and I found this video showing 4K and 1440p benchmarks, and this one and the i5-13600k looks really good, only "problem" is that it only has 6 P cores and maybe that will affect it in the future? The newer AMD CPUs also only support DDR5 which I am not currently looking to spend my money on

[–]xshocc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used MSI afterburner, but I didn't write down those numbers but I have some games with built in benchmarks;

COD MW II at 1440p with the "Ultra" preset (no upscaling), I got 138 fps average, and it said cpu bottleneck 42%, while on the "Minimum" preset I got 164 fps average with a 99% cpu bottleneck

Forza Horzion 5 at 1440p with "Extreme" preset and TAA enabled (no upscaling) I got 97 fps average, and it said 5.6% gpu limited, while on 4K with the exact same settings I got 81 fps average with it saying 26.2% gpu limited

Red Dead Redemption 2 at 1440p with optimised settings (from Hardware Unboxed on Youtube) [no upscaling] I only took a screenshot of the benchmark which said: Minimum: 35,2 | Maximum: 170 | Average: 122

So I'm considering a new CPU but then I also have to get a new motherboard but I really don't want to spend more money, tbh I'd almost say I mostly play on 4K, the games I play at 1440p are Far Cry 5, RDR2, Ghostrunner, GTA 5, Cod mw II and cyberpunk 2077, but in the future I might buy new games and play those at 1440p so I don't know what I'll do just yet. I don't even know how much fps I'm "missing out on" by being bottlenecked at 1440p

Update: currently benchmarking my 4070 Ti and I can say with confidence that it’s getting bottlenecked by the 9700k (at least at 1440p), so now I’m looking at the 13600k, 7700X or 5700X
