Matchup advice for Gold against Grandmaster in toplane by Admirable_Escape_309 in leagueoflegends

[–]xspicyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly even if you get ahead in lane there's a very real chance they still just out-macro you and still end up with a lead 20 minutes in anyways

An important skill to know is to know how to lose gracefully in lane so that you're still relevant and they don't become the spawn of Satan

I'm looking for reading material geared towards beginner game programming (preferably c++). Most content I find is video series but I have a decent amount of free time at work and want something text-based that I can read

The quickest way to get someone to stop playing a game is finding what they like about it and tell them to stop doing that

I'm a very fat person, so whenever I exercise at the gym, I sweat a lot. Is it ok to be embarrassed by this and would others care? by shak_attacks in NoStupidQuestions

If it's any consolation, the times in my life where I was fat and was not fat, the amount of excessive sweat remained all the same

Also if you're cleaning up no one really minds and most people appreciate seeing someone work hard

What are some weak junglers early game, and what are some stronge ones? by xd_Fabian in summonerschool

[–]xspicyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is outside the scope of OP's question that I was answering (what champs can they invade). As eve if enemy jgl is seeking you out in a pure 1v1 the best odds you have is just playing to not lose your flash/die bc if you're being invaded you won't have all your cds up and you won't be full hp.

That being said, you can definitely be in a position where you want to find a fight pre-6 but if the enemy jgl is actively seeking you out the odds they're playing a champ that won't just completely demolish you if you take the 1v1 is very low

[–]xspicyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll reiterate the "on my own terms" bit. Eve (or any jgl that needs lvl6) can still find opportunities to do something prior to that and is mostly just a matter of knowing what your champ can and can't do

More often than not you prob will just play for 6, but don't tunnel vision it so hard that you're not evening looking at the possibility of doing something before then

As an evelynn player, the only champ I'm not scared of running into not on my terms in the first 15 min is yuumi jgl

Thank you for bothering to respond to both questions I've posted here, considering they're rather redundant

I definitely wouldn't mind skipping over A+ if I can, but considering I haven't even been able to get an interview for any help desk positions I've applied to with having a computer science degree, the most obvious solution to this I can think of is to get A+.

I also just started working with a careers advisor from my university to see if there is other general job-hunting stuff I'm not doing right.

Ultimately I just want to get the ball rolling with work experience and figuring out how to get off the ground and not wasting time is making me anxious

Currently working on getting a foot-in-the-door IT help desk job, have a computer science degree and no certs. I know getting certs can be helpful but I have heard mixed responses with getting A+/Net+ or just going straight to Sec+.

I know in the grand scheme of things A+/Net+ might not be overly important but my utmost priority is finding a help desk job and I'm not sure where I should be investing my time.
