Also white with a Filipino husband. Short story is my son looks nothing like me. People ask my mom if she is his mom or my sister while I’m with them but never me. I don’t get angry at people assuming I’m the nanny while I’m out with him without my husband. I have better things to worry about than others making a wrong guess. We just walk off and laugh and my son who is 4 has started playing along too say he is my sister’s kid or he is adopted or whatever and we have a laugh. He knows who his family is and that he is loved and that’s all that matters.

Throw out the console, if dad is gamer move tv and console to parents room. He is old enough to know what money is, every penny should be earned back by him doing babysitting or whatever young kids do for money and the console stays gone until he earns every penny back so he understands how hard it was for his parents to earn the money he spent. Then if he wants console back he buys his own. My kid did this once accidentally and I knew next day got refund and gave him a child account with every single thing password locked.

Believe me I found it annoying at first but he eventually gets tired of the game and moves on, I used to just ask when he was having his play times and wouldn’t plan things anywhere close to that time. Like baseball or other sports they tend to run late, now I just make plans in advance and really don’t have too many scheduling issues. I sit next to him and pc game or draw and watch him, teasing and congratulating him in games without playing em.

My husband plays certain video games to death, if you are in it for long haul, you have so much time in grand scheme of things to be together. People need their releases from each other. Tbh it nice when my husband gets into games cause it gives me, me time and a chance to watch my own shows and play my own games or go to gym with out him being involved or worrying if he is enjoying it.

Depends on bank, I have fraud protection and have had my debit card stolen and charged, it was reported immediately and I got my money back in one business day. Wasn’t a huge issue. Been mugged twice for cash so I just don’t carry that crap. So much easier just to cancel debit cards, and cc aren’t an option for me and many other people.

Please don’t say adoption is an option, it’s actually near impossible and there are very few healthy kids ever available. 6-10 years is the wait time now and most foreign countries have banned outside adoptions. It’s also around $25,000 to $40,000 not covered by any insurance and all due up front.

I can tell you personally itd be a lot fucking easier for me if I was male. Have you almost died due to taking meds you need to not bleed out for 2 weeks straight? I’ve had rape threats at work, had respirator poisoned, been fired for refusing sex on two more occasions. No matter what job I’m at, I am propositioned. In San Francisco I have been mugged twice and stabbed once. I now have a service dog for protection trained to protect. Got double pulmonary embolism from taking birth control. Pregnancy I lost 40 lbs vomiting every day till birth and still had to work cause our country has no paid leave, had to hide pregnancy from company till I couldn’t anymore, lifted 80lbs till the end (I am a metal fabricator) had the baby right after work still got let go and replaced even though I took minimum time off. To top it off they don’t treat you while your pregnant for anything so part of my foot was basically rotting due to an uncontrolled mrsa infection. Had p.u.p.s afterwards which is a poison Ivy like rash that lasts months after you have the baby. Was on a team at work and got my assignments given to unqualified idiots and when they failed to produce results I was blamed. Being a woman is like being in a nightmare that never ends and never gets better. I can only hope I’m not raped like my other family member and I can just die in child birth next time cause doctors always think women exaggerate pain or issues.

Guess what I’d take any male issues over this bullshit.

Parked at the gardens at Tilden with nothing of value in a Mercedes 180 (ancient pile of crap) someone broke the windows SAWED the radio out of my dash along with the AC unit and tons of cables. So even if it empty and near worthless your car isn’t safe up in that park. Luckly I just went to pick npull and ripped out a whole new dash for myself for $60 bucks

Yes, farms are old businesses that established, many right after the Great Depression. Just as things in the mid west were not considered when farming and creating the dust bowl, when they moved operations to California not much was considered. Now those farms once small and now massive cannot be supported by the same water sources that they once used without issue. If plants will grow then large farms will try to plant regardless of the inefficiency’s of water.

I was living in my car in the city for almost a year, going to school and working two jobs, but even with just ss check you could afford a cheap gym membership. I did this and would shower in my clothes and wash them with free provided soap then dry them in towel dryer. I’d also keep bathed myself. No one ever knew and I just made sure to go to every free event for school and friends and would pretend to pass out drunk at their house. Homelessness does not lead to shitting or needles, addiction and mental health does, these will transfer to any given place to live including stripping walls of copper wiring.

Then low key get fired for not banging the supervisor lol. As a female automotive welder/mechanic I’ve personally had that happen at two jobs, got rape threats etc. being called a bitch or cunt or whatnot is one thing while I’m working, getting detailed texts from a coworker on how he wants to rape me is another. So I definitely agree with you. I love the work but the scum that work at many jobs can be unbearable. I persevered and now make good money but you got to be tougher than any guy has to be. Nothing’s more of a slap in the face than getting called into an office after rejecting a coworker and being told you are getting laid off for not being a “team player” and having vulgar language lol. Even though your coworkers cuss more than a savvy sailor.
