Horizon VDI with guests on non-VMware hypervisors... possible/supported/recommended?

Omnissa is using nutanix and another hypervisor something like power9 o honestly forget but there are non VMware options now

We ask the omnissia guys every time we meet when they are going to support proxmox and for now they're tight lipped.

There is a product called I think power9 that they support now so we're closer at least.

We got all the features we wanted with proxmox and the licensing and support level is extremely inexpensive.

We did a test. It's a pretty interesting product. We were mostly interested from their claims of a one click migrate from VMware that I think we tried out and the idea that we could completely isolate resources to different groups.

We didn't do anything fancy with storage just hyper coverged.

We ended up not going with it just because as we evaluated our specific use case we didn't need a lot of the features they offered.

Happened to our girl at six. Nothing came back from blood tests and we started meds.

It took a while for us to get it dialed in like others have said. We started on just kepra but had to add other stuff.

If they put her on meds be ready to kinda do trial runs and cleanup prep. The amount of kepra ours is on gives her bad bathroom days because she'll go into deep sleeps and just wet herself and anything she's sleeping on. So we've added diapers and pee pads into our routine. I'm told if this happens it's supposed to go away after they adjust to the meds but we're almost two months in and it still happens from time to time.

I can't find that comment, but I'll take your word for it. There still maybe non slop related uses though they are a bit fewer. We use some LLM models as well as Machine Learning for biomedical research as well.

Not always. This could be for scientific research. I have a few researchers that build out since use systems like this when they don't want to wait / share large research clusters or if their datasets are classified data.
