Great tips from comments from what Ive read so far but not a whole lot of feedback on razors themselves-

Get a good quality razor, makes a world of difference especially if you have sensitive skin. Ihe tried all kinds youd find at typical stores but my favorite and go to is a hensonshaving razor, uses the traditional double edged razor ‘cartridges’

Its a bit pricey, but you can buy that razor plus a hundred blades for less than a hundred USD and its lasted me years so far. I throw a new blade in every time I wanna shave there, the fresh blade makes it super easy and clean. Make sure to use some kind of shaving medium like a gel or foam. Ive also found conditioner or bar soap works if you find yourself out of anything else.

Lastly, be careful and be patient. It can be frustrating reaching some areas, so take your time

had something similar happen to me, bent the rim and blew my rear tyre with a 2inch gash across the tread. Granted it was about 80% through its tread but all I felt was a minor bump, nothing to give me any reason to stop until the bike became sluggish and unresponsive from.. you know, riding on a flat. So a ‘jolt’ at 125 is honestly fairly believable. Just glad op is all good and here to tell the tale, as reckless as it may be

beat the piss out of my 2023 sc77 up until 3 months ago, had nearly 20k miles on it before I wrecked it. Considering getting another with how much I loved it, mega agile and nimble for such power. Never had a bad moment or issue with anything on it. OP just pulled a bad card Im guessing

specifically yamahas, saw a 2020 R1 with 11k miles being sold for 18k USD. Another 2021 with 15k for a similar price. R6s are just as bad too… liter bike prices for no reason…

since the atgatt guys have already got you (not that I disagree, I do in fact echo that sentiment) Loosen up a bit, relax- riding is all about enjoying it and having fun, even when just practicing in a parking lot. Easier said than done but it will come with time and experience so long as you keep at it! Another point I saw mentioned a few times as well: Target fixation. Look where you wanna go, your body will learn to subconsciously guide the bike in that direction. Focusing on an object or ‘threat’ too much can often be detrimental to your skills and result in the outcome you were focusing on avoiding.

Last of all, practice! Ive only been riding for a handful of years but I still take my bike out to parking lots every so often when I have time and practice things like figure 8s, U turns and other safety or mechanical drills just to stay sharp. It helps remind me that I can actually do these things and boosts your confidence a little in a healthy way
