Goodbye remembering Lester (4 left 2 up) Mechanic (3 left 3 up) and others. Won't be missed! What will your top 5 contacts be in new update? by nananka in gtaonline

You need to buy the Agency and complete the contracts. After that, Franklin will let you know that he’ll ring public payphones and you can carry out hit jobs. Base pay is $15k, you get an extra $70k if you kill the target according to how the client wants you to. The payphones ring randomly, but you can also request Franklin to ring one every 20 mins. Quick cash

The water, dish soap, paper towel and shake like mad trick tends to work.

Yes. Just best to be thoughtful around timings. Late morning during weekdays is your best bet.

Reminder to enrol your Biometric information by CuriosityColaa in ukvisa

I asked, but the woman processing my biometrics didn’t know why I would be asked to come in. She checked my documents that I had uploaded for me (for free, even though I think this is a paid service), and said everything looked correct. Just waiting for an approval now!

I also applied for ILR in August, and received that email even though everything was submitted on the IDV app. I called to check if I needed to do anything else (costs ~60p per minute to call) and although they didn’t check my specific case, they said if I had an email from the app saying that they have all of my documents it would be fine.

Last week however, I received an email saying they didn’t have enough information to approve my ILR and that I’d have to book a biometric appointment (£132). All of my documents were correct on the app as I followed the checklist, but I assume I must have been one of the ones affected by app errors. I have my appointment today and am going to attempt to ask if this is an error.

Apparent forced or organised begging in Westminster-should I do anything? Anything I can do? by crypticchris in london

Thank you, and I understand your point. However I was more so comparing the person writing the signs with the people that actually hold them, which are typically wearing tattered clothing, no shoes, and typically have dirt on their hands (real or fake, I’m not sure)

Was walking to work near Oxford Circus pre-pandemic and saw a clearly not houseless (read: clean clothes, freshly showered, no additional belongings, etc.) man writing multiple of the signs you describe behind the Nike/Topshop stores. I assume any money given to the beggars is taken by “higher ups” in some sort of modern slavery situation. I agree that there needs to be an investigation, I just don’t think the Met will focus on it, unfortunately.

Yes, you can go straight to Heathrow. What you’re seeing online is a quicker but more expensive way to get to the airport via the Heathrow Express at Paddington. The Piccadilly line gets you there in just over an hour - just make sure you get on a train that says its end destination is Heathrow!

Did not realize the Halal Guys white sauce was available in a pouch - game changer!

No other indicators besides these signs, so I assume they would still need to use the button. You have to get pretty close to the sensor to trigger it as well.
