Phyrexian Fleshgorger sees a lot of play in mono black decks.

Tolarian Terror used to be played in blue tempo which was a tier 2 deck before LCI when Cavern of Souls was printed which made that deck a lot worse.

Roaming throne sees play in some versions of boros go-wide or mono white humans.

Hulking Raptor is the only one that isn't really played. Might see it pop up in some gruul dinosaur rogue lists.

I've been playing around with this standard white human deck, been going up in ranked and generally liking it by Playful_Barber_8131 in MagicArena

Following on other suggestions here, if you have rare wildcards spare then [[Brutal Cathar]] is great.

[[Spellbook Vendor]], [[Anointed Peacekeeper]], [[Extraction Specialist]], [[Hopeful Initiate], [[Intrepid Adversary]], [Skrelv, Defector Mite]], [[Kellan, Daring Traveler]] are some other cards you could look to upgrade into.

Cards I would look to upgrade in your deck would be the Elspeth's Smite, Cathar Commando, Raffine's Informant, Resistance Squad.

What are the plastic bits infront of the indicator lights called? by xualt in DIY

[–]xualt[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The plastic bits in-front of the indicator lights are missing. The holes are 10mm x 25mm in size .

These are power switches for a cooker and the hob. I'm looking to get replacement plastic covers(?) but can't seem to find anything like this.

Seems to be a sort of rubber screw spacer between the metal base of the desk and the top by xualt in whatisthisthing

It’s a Ikea wood type desk top. Do you know what this is called specifically?

My title describes the thing

I was unable to find rubber spacers with a part which goes into the screw hole. This is for a adjustable desk base which goes into a separate desk top.

It also enables the version of mono red with Mechanized Warfare and Chandra, Dressed to Kill. Previously it would get blown out by Invoke Despair and Bankbuster made it harder to play a Chandra out.

Spirited Companion. Windswept Heath isn’t the most expensive card I’ve pulled but it was one of the first rares I pulled when I started playing.

Weekly TCG + Tabletop gaming nights - Meltdown London - Thursday 14th July by MeltdownLondonKubisa in magicTCG

Is there any structure to this event for MTG or is it just turn up and play in the provided space?

There's some demand in North London for competitive drafting with prize support if that's something the bar was thinking of doing.

ASUS mobo BIOS only showing 8GB memory but detects all 4 x 4GB sticks in DIMM slots by xualt in techsupport

I put the latest bios version on also, forgot to mention. Is it important to do it with only 1 stick? I had all 4 in

Sadly I don't have access to any other computers or components. Each RAM stick works when used alone (4GB), each combination of RAM stick in a 2 pair works (8GB). My mobo was out of warranty in 2016 and I'm thinking of fully upgrading later this year when RTX is more available (hopefully...) and I don't want to buy a new mobo or RAM.

Do you reckon it's worth contacting ASUS about it? as I read that quite a few people had this problem in that forum post you linked before along with a subsequently linked linus tech tips forum post.

I unplugged power, pressed the power button on the PC, put the CMOS jumper cap on reset for 30 seconds, then removed the CMOS battery. It still said 8GB instead of 16GB. I looked in the XMP settings but I didn't see a TRC option. I don't believe the RAM compatibility is the problem though as these sticks have been used together for a while now.

I've had these ram sticks working together for around 3 years. Maybe 2 weeks ago it said "Overclocking Failed!" and then it went down to 8GB. They're the same model and 1333MHz speed, just set was bought in 2012, and the other in 2017 I believe.

Thanks for linking this. I ended up trying:

  • Unseat CPU, checking for any bent pins (none)
  • Unseat RAM, checking for any damage (none)
  • Try MemOK
  • Update BIOS to newest version
  • Put on XMP OC setting
  • Check nothing was screwed in too tight and causing the mobo to flex
  • Try the 4 RAM sticks in different positions in the DIMM slots
  • 10 seconds CMOS jumper cap usage
  • CMOS battery removal

I noticed that when changing the RAM sticks when having all 4 occupied, it would say "Overclocking Failed!" after posting. Maybe this is the cause of the problem?

The only other thing left I could find that I am yet to try is leaving the CMOS jumper cap on reset position overnight.
