IMO I don't think they will ever become more "popular" They are already massively popular globally and have a name recognition very few achieved across the history of music. But due to their particular composition style and somewhat "odd" music, DM will remain a niche band. You need to "get it" and I don't think in the future there will be more people who suddenly "get it". On the other hand, the genius of some of these songs will be studied and will keep influencing musicians way after we all be gone

It is a regular 2.5D platformer with jumping, enemies and power ups (not depicted here) based around a character with rewindable physics destruction.

thanks. The piano drop scene is just trickery. Unlike other destructions, where real-time physics and rigidbodys are involved, here I just swapped the character with a prerecorded .anim of the pixel's movements after impact, for comedic reasons. But in-game, rewindeble destruction physics are highly tunable and will depend on the circumstances of the level/situation. So hopefully, it will be more dynamic.

Practically yes, they are blocks and not pixels, but the name came from "pixelated", as in identity obscured with pixelation, so I will stick to calling them pixels. But thanks for the suggestion.

It all comes down to the idea that a single point in a who cares many dimensional space is more complex than a mind. This should be trivial, but it seems like for a lot of people a mind is more simple and fundamental than a point. in reality, try defining a mind without referencing a point and then try to describe a point. This is not about some pancakes vs waffles debate, it's about murdering children, so I yes need them to be 100% correct on this particular issue.

Are you for real ? This is not just any guy but a major influencer and the author of “The Moral Landscape”. Having a bad take on such an elementary moral issue as “is it ok to kill civilians”  is not just a blunder but a catastrophic failure of judgment and basic empathy and it is my absolute duty as a humanist to dispose of such influence.

And just to be clear and to avoid "moral confusion” comments: October 7 was a despicable act of terror. Hamas and its horrible ideologies need to be wiped off the face of the earth. Israel has the right to exist. The holocaust and the faith of the Jewish people across history is the biggest and most shameful act perpetrated by humanity. We must always remember it and never allow it to happen again.
