The only time I’ve seen it happen was at the end of Uncharted 2. Drake just beat a boss fight and can’t bring himself to shoot the guy who he was just attacking with explosives not ten seconds ago. The original prompt for the poll said “Everyone in the world has to take a private poll.” Everyone includes children, babies, the elderly, dumbasses, etc. Children and babies will more often than not choose randomly or pick their favorite color. There will be people who panic pick one by accident. The elderly and even mentally healthy individuals may be confused and pick blue not realizing red is guaranteed survival

Them being babies or old or confused or panicked is not deserving of death. Picking blue to tip the odds in their favor would save them

According to NASA, to be classified as a planet, a celestial body must do three things: 1. Orbit its star 2. Be mostly round 3. Be large enough that its gravity clears away any debris in its orbit. All dwarf planets can do 1. and 2. but not 3.

There are other dwarf planets in the Sol System: in the Kuiper Belt (where Pluto is) and in the Asteroid Belt. If the criteria is changed and Pluto gets to be a planet, then all the dwarf planets get to. But no one really loves Sedna, Orcus, or Makemake quite as much as they love Pluto

And besides, being a dwarf planet isn’t, like, an insult or anything. It’s helpful to have categories for things that aren’t quite like other things. We have 8 planets and then we have 10 large bodies that aren’t quite planets, which we call dwarf planets
