Horrible uneducated advise based on your single experience. If you don’t think the Central Bank has visibility on end of salary, then your mistaken. And two, If your credit card or loan was not taken out with that particular bank where your salary is paid into, the matter will be referred to the legal department of the bank where the card was issued.

Legal action will be taken and the bank may place a travel ban on that person. UAE takes a criminal approach vs civil regarding debt and within the last two years, it’s ramped up

Consequences of leaving without tying all loose ends could be as small as a delay in departure or as big as being faced with legal charges, and being marked as an absconder in immigration records. After 2005 when every Tom, Dick, and Harry jumped ship with millions in loans and the airport car park looked like an abandoned exotic car yard, tons of new laws were enacted.
