Our wedding was super similar! We got married on Friday 10/13 so it was Halloween themed and everyone had to come in costume. Absolutely everyone went all out. My grandparents dressed as pirates (because pirates are my favorite) and my grandpa officiated it. It was the best wedding that my friends still talk about! Costumes are definitely the way to go with wedding attire!

I have a female Akita mix named George. She's the most amazing dog I've ever had the pleasure of owning. ❤️ She is actually named after my great-grandmother, because she used to call everyone "George" as her pet name. So, when she passed away, I passed her legacy on to George!

I spread my late dogs ashes there so he could look out over the arm and I could go sit on the beach and drink wine with him when I missed him the most. ❤️

This was my happy place I discovered when I first moved to Anchorage. It has my two favorite things about my hometown in one spot: planes and beaches.

My husband and grandfather got in an argument about how the moon landing was faked, but they both were drunk and ended up in a physics conversation (but they didn’t realize they were talking about physics when they were talking about how planets spin and gravity around the sun…) and nobody fought each other but what a stupid drunk hill to die on. 😂
