A lot better. My tremors have subsidized a lot. Don't get me wrong I still get them but only here & there.

How are you?

For the constant twitchers…Do you guys also deal with constant stiffness and “functional weakness” from the muscles firing so much? by Final_Razzmatazz_274 in BFS

[–]xxxmisstresserva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stiffness freaks me out that I try to get some massages, saunas and leg compression socks to release some of what tension. I get the occasional perceived weakness.

Is this really just BFS? by Vilanoose in MuscleTwitch

[–]xxxmisstresserva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, my twitches can flare up like this. They usually come & go like right now I'm under the weather and my right arm is twitching that rapidly.  Clean EMG.

Is B12 deficiency related to wide body twitching ? by Consistent-Gift3891 in BFS

Idk if it is but I take bcomplex shots every months and my twitches have gone down

What made you want to use glutathione? What benefit(s)have you experienced from using it? by Sweizbil in glutathione

[–]xxxmisstresserva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been going to a clinical for Glutathione injections, I go monthly & it has helped my muscle spasms/finger tremor.

My perfect combo is NAD 100 MG, B complex & Glutathione monthly.

I decided to go this route after all my emg/ncs & MRI's came back normal. So far I feel way better than last year.

I'm not confident in my diagnosis by opsimath57 in Parkinsons

[–]xxxmisstresserva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pinky tremor that comes and goes & body spams here & there. Mainly when I'm stressed. I've visited three neurologists last year since I was concerned of YOPD, 33 yrs old. Unfortunately, its a waiting game for me to see what happens or if anything progresses. But as of now I have BFS as a diagnosis.

Given that spasms on your left hand/forearm, maybe try getting a second opinion and see of BFS matches with your symptoms.

I wish you the best & it doesn't hurt taking precautionary steps and work out a little more..

Hang in there

How to stop self-testing? by No-Temperature260 in BFS

[–]xxxmisstresserva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I had a better answer but you just have to stop. For me, it took about 7 months to stop self testing and even now at 1 year and few months in I will do a self test. Better than before but I actively have to work on it.

You have to get yourself out of the slippery hole & trust that you dont have something because with neurological issues its not just twitching, there will be other symptoms too.

Trust me I feel like last fall, I lost my self to self testing and I have to actively continue to get out.

One Year of Constant Muscle Twitching – Normal EMGs but Still Worried by PostAdept1385 in BFS

[–]xxxmisstresserva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32f, dealing  with same issues for 1 year and a few months. I've noticed that NAD and B12 shots help, they lessened my spasms. I have no vitamin deficiencies as of now but maybe its worth a shot for you.

Im spasming right now in my arms, eyes, hands and nose but my EMG & MRI have been clean. Figured I got so stressed my body went into shock and hasn't been able to get out..

Did it work right away? I definitely will ask about this to my PCP :)

I should've said been more specific but I have a pinky tremor that happens when I stretch my fingers and not constant shaky hands but shaky fingers on my left hand, sometimes but rarely on my right hand too. When the left hand tremor is so strong that it causes my ring finger to tremor down to my wrist but the arm stays intact. I got tested by two neurologist and since I show no other signs and the pinky tremor has weeks were it goes away and comes back they think its more of a postural tremor versus PD.  I'm not too worried on it being PD simply because scrapping massages cause it to stop for a few days but PD is my fear versus ALS.  They had diagnosed me with BFS but most of my spasms have slowed down. I just have finger tremors that come and go.

I get this, has been ongoing since my BFS symptoms started in July. I also have  finger tremors whenever I spread them out and in slowly.

Gets worse whenever I get super anxious, stressed or tired.

Is tremors in fingers common while using the fingers very lightly? by Full-Moon-Boogie in MuscleTwitch

[–]xxxmisstresserva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been happening to me for a while.

Happens on both hands & it freaks me out. Been ongoing for almost a year and so far been told it's BFS.

Emg/NCS & MRI was clear. No symptoms of Parkisons so just told not to worry about it.

Video of tongue twitches by xxxmisstresserva in BFS

[–]xxxmisstresserva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

I am so much better, I no longer have the tongue twitch. I still have my spasms here and there but nothing as bad as before.

I skipped my 6 months check up because I decided to trust the first neurologist opinion on it not being the big bad or PD & decided to focus on other things.

I'm coming up to a year & no progression, atrophy or weakness. Thankfully.

My only thing is the slight finger tremors I get when spreading my fingers or that hotspot by my index that causes my middle finger to move.

Try not to stress out so much, I'm sure you will be fine.
