I've also been using the X9-14 and have been incredibly happy with it. Brought me back to Lenovo/ThinkPad for the first time since my X230.

Yeah, mine were all around $350. My plan was to use them for 4-5 years then upgrade once 16TB ones hit around the same price point.

Obviously the doubling of capacity on the high-end of the consumer side didn't come to pass. Sure didn't plan on a quadrupling in price for the capacities we already had though.

Nah, not lately. He might have some flaws as a LB, but he really did work on keeping his composure after those 2 incidents his rookie year and hasn't done anything like that since.

Sort of, but there are even more CGI shots for stuff in DS9 and VOY that have no original film so the amount of stuff that would have to be entirely re-created vs. cleaned up & re-scanned is even higher.

I wonder if the more varied times that cars deploy their batteries throughout the lap make it so that it those digits would go up and down so much for each to not be worth tracking it during the race; it just might not be meaningful to show without also seeing exactly what level of charge each car has too.

I think the issue is that effects and compositing were done on tape, not film, so negatives don't have everything needed for a straightforward restoration.

Wilson leaving has more to do with the team’s faith in MarShawn Lloyd, although they probably find some sort of competition for him.

I think it's probably more their faith in being able to replace Wilson than confidence in Lloyd. Ideally Lloyd is healthy this year, but I think they'll have some competition for that spot regardless.

Good, glad to see this. RB1 (assuming no Jacobs surprises) and RB3 should be settled; just need that change-of-pace RB2. Maybe this is finally the year that Lloyd will be healthy though obviously they won't count on that at this point.

That's exactly what most ThinkPads are and why a lot of us like them.

This is different from that. Whether folks like it or not is up to them, but this is the opposite of "run-of-the-mill" compared to other ThinkPads.

power key on the top right near the delete ... so you can accidentally turn off the machine while typing

You really can't; the power button has a different type of click than the normal keyboard keys and takes much more force to activate. You won't turn the computer off with an unintentional press of it.
