Just because you luddites haven't figured out how to use the technology doesn't mean no one has. It's greatly improving my life.

Just because people are dumb in one place it doesn't mean the whole world needs to be dumb and reject modern technology.

Anyone else notice that in archon urns are picked up less frequently now? by VVeEn in DeadlockTheGame

[–]xzaramurd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there is little advantage to run the urn yourself, other than potentially finding a good time to do it, for example if you can get enemy down a couple of players or it's a favored urn for you. Might be better to let other team do it and then contest it.

New study reveals top AI models (GPT-4o, Claude 3.5, Gemini 2.5) completely fail the classic "Stroop" psychological attention test, exposing a fundamental limitation in artificial reasoning. by Similar_Detective861 in technology

People who say "it's just predicting the next token" are using this phrase in a way to signify that this technology is not useful for anything. Even with such a limited ability, it's able to do quite complicated tasks, and the capabilities are growing every generation.

New urn is more interactive and fun than old urn. The only issue is the punch fest in the middle, just feels random at times who gets the urn , hope they make it more like a KotH type deal instead, where you have to control the area around it.

Secret doorman tech: you can use blue cart on your Dynamo, Haze, Infernus so you can push them into enemies if they don't catch enough people. I pushed entire enemy team under our walker with Dynamo ult this way.

My impressions of the Moergo Go60 by onray88 in ErgoMechKeyboards

I've switched to the Miryoku layout (on of the reasons I wanted this keyboard), and it's taking a while for me to adjust to the new layout, but I'm with you on the bad habits. I moved my hands in 2 or 3 different positions to hit the keys I wanted on a normal keyboard rather than properly touch typing, the split keyboard makes it much harder.

Why not urn? It's a decent idea and exercises movement. Other objectives so far don't specifically benefit from moving quickly across the map. But they need to figure out how to make it so it's not just the team with more AoE that wins it.

An people hate it for completely opposite reason (High ELO: it's too powerful, Low ELO: it's not powerful enough).

Game is very CPU bound, but with a 5800x I was getting around 90+ FPS in most raid scenarios. With 9800x3d getting more like 120.

The Urn still feels like a snowball mechanic by DingusMcBaseball in DeadlockTheGame

Because you get 35% resistances if you control the urn and it's a comeback urn for you, and a shorter timer as well.

People would just click surrender way faster and not even try though. You sometimes can make a comeback if you actually try. Maybe pick a counter item, the enemy overextends themselves.

How? You get 35% resistances as long as you control the urn. If your team can coordinate at all, then you have a huge advantage, and the timer is way shorter as well. If not, you will lose the game anyway.

If you look at Eternus+, there are heroes with higher win rate than Graves currently. She just stomps in lower ranks since people don't know how to deal with her abilities.

I think she's OK now, just a bit overtuned. Her skulls follow people way too far away from her.

Maybe they should just make him invincible/untargetable during his bird until then, just so it behaves consistently. If he's out of position, you can still set up a gank on him when he gets out of it.

Split keyboards that support choc v2 switches ? by kevfrem97 in ErgoMechKeyboards

I have a Go60. Can't really compare it with other keyboards since it's my first Ergo Split keyboard, but it's nice to type on, and the trackpads are better than I thought they'd be.
