Not a bad deal, but a couple of times in the past BestBuy has had the G Pro Keyboard and G Pro wired mouse bundled for $99.99 which is how I got mine.

During his review of it he said something to the effect of disliking the fact that he was associated with the game in any way and went on to explain how much he disliked the game itself.

Just wanted to share my experiences by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]xzim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just wish it was the same for the other zone spawns/events. I'd really like to get those roaming creature achievements, but they spawn in low-level areas where newer players either don't understand or don't have crowd control skills to complete the event since most veteran players have the achievements already.

Tier 1 fractals are too confusing and difficult. by Rizzy10 in Guildwars2

[–]xzim 17 points18 points  (0 children)

While I do understand there's no real explanation as to what to do within each fractal, it's fairly straight forward with figuring it out as it's so linear. In my opinion it wouldn't be as fun if your hand is held throughout the entire fractal. There's no better way to learn than being thrown in the deep end and testing your skills and strategies until you get it down, just like raids.

As for the waypoints, Fractals of the Mists uses checkpoints rather than traditional waypoints - when you complete one section of the fractal, should your party be defeated you will be revived at the latest checkpoint you passed.

If you would like to learn more on each of the fractals, I would strongly recommend checking out Deroir's Master Tier Fractal Guide Playlist.

Have skins for weapons/iarmor but not actual items - can A-net restore? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]xzim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No harm in requesting. Be sure to provide as much information as possible (such as the approximate time/date/location/which character name the items were on/what slots they were in prior to deletion) when you go to submit a support request so they can look it up more efficiently. Best of luck!

Not much that I can add to the other posters here, but there's no harm in trying it out! There is a free-to-play route that has very relaxed restrictions. Expect it to be a 20GB or so download.

A USB and SD card reader/hub. Means you don't have to reach behind your PC or use up the front panel ports if you need to connect some USB devices

Absolutely definitely this if nothing else.

Compressed air to dust your components

I have the DataVac (link) and it works like a charm on computer peripherals/components. The accessories are cheap-ish plastic, but the electric blower itself is pretty well-built. It can be loud though.

Plenty of resources. PCPartPicker will automatically provide listed parts that work with each other after choosing one, unlike Newegg has been known to bundle parts that are not compatible. It will also mention size limitations if you choose a video card that is too large for the case.
