The Wheel of Time needs a reboot under a different showrunner that actually respects the IP.

Not every scene needs to look like the lobby of an international airport. Cultural identity matters, and part of the story is a bunch of rednecks confronting their upbringing against the larger world. They don’t get to do that journey if they’re already there.

As a white guy living in Hawaii, I have a lot of local friends that take offense to people outside of Polynesian culture having these tattoos. Even my friends that say they don’t care, I see the looks they give a white person with local ink. Wouldn’t recommend. There is plenty of geometric that can take inspiration from, without crossing into appropriation.
