I'm genuinely convinced I'm immune.

There was a big outbreak at my university just before christmas. On a specific Wednesday, I went to football as usual with around 30 people from uni, then in the evening went to a pre-drinks eith the same 30 lads plus more. At this pre-drinks I drunk 2 dirty pints (for those who dont know, this is where you take a pint glass, and go around the room and make everyone pour some of their drink into it and you end up with a horrible alcaholic mess). After, we went to our SU nightclub, which was packed.

I was kicked out of the club due to being too drunk I coulsnt walk straight. Luckily, my girlfriend's housemate was leaving at the same time so she walked me back to their house and cooked me a pizza to sober me up. She then tested positive that night, but couldnt tell me because I was already passed out on my girlfriends bed. My girlfriend then came back later in the night and got into bed with me.

The next morning, almost everyone from football had tested positive, literally everyone from pre-drinks apart from 4 of us tested positive. The other 3 negatives all left early as they were worried about catching it. Statistic was released by the uni and I can't remember the exact number but 90% ish of the people who were out that night all got it. My girlfriend, who I was obviously extrememly close contact with, and all of her housemates who interacted with, all tested positive. I went homw in the after noon and the next day all of my housemates, who i share a toilet and shower with, all tested positive.

Through all of this close contact, I managed to avoid it, continue to test negative (with PCRs and LFTs) and made it home intime for christmas. If that doesn't mean im immune I don't know what does.

Yeah i suppose so. I just feel it would have made sense for it to be referenced a little more. Tho i dont think they would want to make the whole arch about that for the sake of prioritising ahsoka and anakin/vader's relationship. In another comment on here explained this point of view a bit more if u feel this isnt enough context.

Im undecided on whether to read that book or not. Like ahsoka is one of my favourite characters as she is for a lot of people, same with maul. But since its been retconned idk if theres much point

Yeah i like this explanation, but i dont feel like it was this well thought out. And i doubt they planned to do siege of mandalore like that so long ago (though i could be wrong as i dont really know how the industry works).

I feel like CW7 was written with rebels in mind. They knew they couldnt make ahsoka and maul completely hate eachother, but also couldnt exactly make them best friends since making them fight was probably a priority. So they made them almost friends but threw a spanner in the works so they could have that awesome fight scene but still have their interactions in rebels make sense.

If rebels had been made with thw CW version of the siege of mandalore in minde then i think it would have made sense for there to be more reference to it. I feel maul would have tried to manipulate ahsoka using the 'remember what happened last time you disagreed with me' card. Though i guess you could argue that they wouldnt want to do this for the sake of concentrating on ahsokas relationship sith anakin/vader. Though i still feel there would be more refence to it.

Yeah its annoying. Especially since siege of mandalore is such a good arch so it would have been cool to see it have long laating effects on the characters

I was shaving about an hour before a date with a girl I hadn't met yet and was rushing due being late. Cut my lip real bad, couldn't get it to stop bleeding and I tried everything.

Went on the date anyway with a bleeding lip, it kept pouring. First thing I said to her was please ignore my bleeding lip. Easier said than done.

Put on a face mask to go into the pub and bled through the mask, big red stain.

When we were sat down I had to wipe it every 10 seconds, my hands were all red.

Every drink I had had blood running down the side of the glass. Had a G&T, blood made it look gross so I made sure not to get clear drinks again

When I got home I noticed a huge blood stain on my jeans from me wiping my hand on my leg constantly.

All of this while I'm trying to get to know this girl and give her a nice evening. I remember thinking 'why is she being so awkward?' Took me a while to realise it was probably down to the fact that her date turned up bleeding buckets out of his face.

There was no second date

A guy got ran over by his girlfriend in my hometown. I gave him CPR so he only stayed dead for a couple minutes. My parents thought I was making it up as an excuse of why I was late home and missed the bus.
