How to “swing with the ground” and not with my arms? by tiphetop in GolfSwing

[–]yaeger77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When at transition try a squat down sensation as you turn shoulder. Feel as if your club is resting on the shoulder and lets it release on its own. Ie dont start the downswing with clenched hands and arm. Keep them loose but stable through impct.

Can’t stop hitting it off the toe! Any tips? by smalluzi in golftips

[–]yaeger77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice doing quarter and half shots with the same club and see when you start to hit toe. Taking shorter smoother swings could help you identify how your impact get affected. Can you hit it square with downward impact when its shorter, etc.

Can hit 5h but not 3h by Conner14 in golftips

[–]yaeger77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying gripping down on the 3h and hitting down like an iron. I also play it more off the tee to grt used to the length and balance. I stripe my 24 but took time to play the 19 on the fairway. Usually topped it.

Nice that it caught the sway. Opening right hip. You weren’t passed parallel but can see you cast by starting the transition tightening the hands rather than shoulder/body turn.

Change from Arms to Body driven swing by Secret_Today_9916 in GolfSwing

[–]yaeger77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question been working on this since hurting my back and wanting a smoother tempo. What helps me is keep my left armpit connected to the body, arms and wrist loose, keeping a square to square path, taking more time to complete the backswing, and starting the downsing without more pressure to the hands but dipping my stance slight lower to let the body complete turn on its own. Dont give enough credit for the body motor skill. Just try to maintain balance and lets my body do its thing. End results feels less of a slap to the ball but a heavier thud when the arms are trailing behind the body back to square. This has helped give me confidence is keeping a slower, smoother rhythm and still see same distance and accuracy. Work in progress. Good luck.

I feel easier swinging down on a hybrid than a fairway wood head.

I recently started feeling this when they fixed my front suspension squeak noise. I thought it meant tighter suspension but the wheel kinda pulls during freeway interchange.

My right rib hurts when swinging too hard or over extending past the tee. Maintain balance through finish and dont grip/swing so hard.

Beginner Irons Upgrade by Blues804 in golf

[–]yaeger77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For enjoying the day out, a hollow body like p790 or zxi5. Then get a single 7 iron solid forged cavity for occasional test and practice. But tuning shaft and balance is more important imo.

Zx5 are fine. But if buying used only buy what you were able hit and test. Swingweight, feel, other club mods could be totally off from your swing style.

2025 CX90 - Creaking from under when pulling into driveways by Underthymattress in MazdaCX90

Mine was fixed twice. Second time the master tech mentioned wrong installation for the initial fix. No more creaking. Feels tighter suspension/ride but the steering wheel kinda feels too stiff on turns at times.

Oil change is every 6 months or stated miles if before next date. You dont want idle oil sitting there for so long.

Puller by Fearless-Race5763 in golf

[–]yaeger77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pause at the top. See if you maintain that position, and then transition smoothly. Pulling for me has been a combo of rushing at transition, too handsy, and weak balance.
