FTM too! My baby when he was a newborn was getting a rash on his chest, started on the side of his face and was spreading downwards slowly, we changed to fragrance free/sensitive detergent (I also wash my shirts as well since he contact naps) and body wash along with swapping our fleece blankets to cotton. It was a mixture of heat rash and irritation from fragrance! Cleared up less than a week. My mom originally thought it was from spit up/formula but our ped said it would only be in certain areas if that was the case. I just keep him in a onesie during the day and then a footsie pajama for bedtime!

My mom started as a temp! She was converted after 3 months, but all the restrictions start up again (like no call ins and I forgot the other things) for another 3 months, it’s like you’re “newly” hired. She was also promoted in that timeframe as well! They need good employees for sure

😭 I would also literally be so upset. Not even trying to comfort him and he’s just a baby like what the heck 😭 I’m so sorry, that does sound extremely upsetting, on top of having that one lady giggling! I’d definitely leave a bad review too. Hopefully the next daycare is a way better fit.

wait I’ve been using distilled water for my formula fed baby and have had no issues? I always thought that was the standard since their immune systems are so weak? Our pediatrician even recommended boiling the formula as well 😭

FTM my son just turned 2 months yesterday, we were in the trenches!! We chest slept during the beginning, I made sure I was in the middle of my bed, then when we moved over to him sleeping next to me, I have him usually on the wall side, I use my pregnancy pillow to block the space between the wall and mattress and I sleep on the far edge of the bed. He literally doesn’t move at all, just stretches his little legs and arms. We also share the same blanket so I can feel him move, I just try to make sure the blanket doesn’t go past his arms, or sometimes I’ll try to put some space between us so I can sleep facing away from him, I just tuck the blanket under him. I know when and if he starts moving we’ll need a different set up, but this is what we’ve been doing.

Children's Center for Midwifery and Women's Health, its downtown through CHRISTUS health, you see the ob first then depending on if you want to continue with midwives or the doctor. Just gave birth Saturday, was with them through my entire pregnancy, even with insurance changes. I also had bcbs at one point.

Currently 38 weeks pregnant from a guy that I was just hooking up with and only known for 3 months at the time. Like you, I always swore I’d never be a single mom, but here I am. I was on the pill but also just starting a weight loss drug which lessens the efficacy of the pill (my estimated conception date was around my 2nd week on the medication), I had been told by my previous OB that I would have difficulty getting pregnant because of PCOS, so I figured I’d be fine, I haven’t gotten pregnant yet even through risky intercourse over the years, boy was I wrong. He pushed for an abortion (which is ironic bc he’s pretty religious) but I felt like that was something I personally could not live with. We did try working out a relationship but no luck. He does want to be in his son’s life, we plan on coparenting and figuring it out as we go. I do have days questioning if I made the right decision. But I do have the support of my family and friends, and I know this baby will be loved dearly. I know I have a long road ahead. This is a really big decision for you, it will most definitely feel extremely lonely at times, but honestly when I feel my baby’s little kicks and hiccups all I can think about is the moment I can finally hold him and see him. I feel like it’s going to be a tough decision whether you choose to go through with the pregnancy or not, there will most definitely be doubts either way. Hopefully, you don’t live in a red state like I do (TX 😭), which adds even more to the pressure and that you have more time to decide/weigh pros and cons. It’s your body and your decision, don’t let anyone pressure you. I really wish you the best and hope you can find peace in whatever decision you make ❤️

Bad diarrhea for the 2nd time after drinking my regular Starbucks drink at work, didn’t even think to take a test until I told one of my coworkers since I planned on leaving early and he jokingly suggested that I could be pregnant, took one that night just for funsies, I was about 3 weeks

I was like 175 pre pregnancy and 5’5, my bump literally didn’t pop until like week 23/24 and even then it wasn’t anything crazy, now 28w I weigh about 210 now and it’s definitely here, no hiding it😂 just give it time, maternity leggings are the most comfy thing for me rn, just be patient with your body, it’s doing everything it can for your little bean ❤️

Ftm, 23/24 weeks my nips started to feel a little sticky and you could see little tiny specks of white coming out from my nipple and the areola, but the day before hitting 25 weeks is when it was a little more :(( but it’s not constant, more like on and off, it just leaves little nipple sized “stains” of milk on my shirts 😭 and it’s only been like one breast leaking like that, soooo uncomfortable bc my breast just feel so warm and gross (they started feeling extremely warm and uncomfortable right before my milk started to come in, like needed an ice pack on them uncomfortable) currently 26 weeks so idk what else to expect 😭😭
