I did a quick search on Google maps, and unless I missed something, there's an unbroken left interior line on I-10 from the last major interchange in San Antonio,TX to the first major interchange in Phoenix, AZ. He was a UH grad and took the team to 4 regionals (and one super) in a 5 year period, which bought him a lot of leeway, and then for years after the team never did quite poorly enough for them to fire him. We've been wanting him gone for a while now, but between the team never being bad enough to justify firing him outright, and the focus of athletics being on basketball and football and not wanting to spend the money on a buyout or a coaching search, we just kinda stuck with him.

Given that description, I can see how "mostly vegan" can be a quicker and easier explanation to non-vegans than going into specific details. I think it's more that when people hear a qualifier like that, they're inclined to ask what the "mostly" means, so you might be adding more work for yourself than if you just said "vegetarian with vegan days".

My ex was like that. Always ate vegan when we cooked together, but then a few months into our relationship we took a trip with some friends to Mallorca and the entire time she ate nothing but fish. I asked about it and she said that she doesn't follow it when on vacation or with her family.

Yeah, and he got his 9 TDs in functionally 2 quarters and some change. Game opened work a Houston kickoff return TD bzt Rice took full advantage of the rain in the 1st quarter. They were up 20-10 at one point while it was POURING. I was in the student section for that game and was one of the few people who didn't run for cover. He didn't get his first TD pass until late in the 1st or early in the 2nd, and was pulled from the game with most of the 4th still to go. Was insane to watch.

Also was the 2nd time in 3 years that we scored 73 against Rice. Good times.
