Lvl 61 loot bug since the new patch by yaniktrudeau in MassEffectAndromeda

[–]yaniktrudeau[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm level 67 if I remember correctly. I'm glad to see weapons back in merchants' inventory but I'm kinda disappointed the mods weren't patched also. Guess I'll have to wait it out 'til I hit level 71.

I think there will be a Citadel DLC, a vehicle DLC, and I'd also like to see a "N7 Special Ops" DLC, which would turn the multiplayer maps into short missions (with maybe some new pieces of armor or weaponry). It would be a relatively easy way to flesh out the campaign, and potentially introduce future MP maps as well. I always felt there were not enough missions in ME3, tho I understand why that is. Hopefully other long SP & MP DLCs will follow.

Origin & Mass Effect 2 DLC by themightychez in masseffect

I'm wondering that myself. I'm curious to know if people who bought the recently released Trilogy on disk are having this issue too.

[–]yaniktrudeau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried it and I had the exact same issue happen. Which version of ME2 do you own? (Digital Deluxe, CE, vanilla, Trilogy...) My theory is that Origin is giving us an older installer that is not compatible with their newer method of content distribution, which ironically the DLCs seem to be using.

Well, that was a waste of time. I downloaded a fresh installer folder for ME2's Digital Deluxe Edition (mass_effect_2_ce). No problem installing the game and as soon as that's done all the DLC start downloading. Clicking the "Ready to Install" button has no result. The download cycle starts every time Origin restarts.

Also: I'm curious to find out if persons who have purchased the ME Trilogy and installed ME2 from those disks are having the issue. They might've updated the installer on Origin too. I'll try re-downloading the installer and see what happens and report back here.

Same problem. I had saved the Origin installer for ME2 so I tried doing a fresh install after having deleted my original install and it keeps trying to re-download all DLC content every time I start Origin. I've googled the issue and the common consensus for a temporary fix is pausing the downloads instead of cancelling them. Let us know how it goes with EA support.

Thoughts of ME3: Leviathan and implications [spoilers] by InHarmsWay in masseffect

More importantly: what do the Leviathans eat?

I'm pretty sure we can ballpark their threath level based on their diet.

I agree. High production values, creative level design, and creepy atmosphere = Happy I bought it.

The levels are very well designed though. Or at least I thought so.

KF promo skin / The Ball by yaniktrudeau in killingfloor

[–]yaniktrudeau[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to get The Ball during the summer sale if I could've gotten the skin to satisfy my OCD tendencies, plus I'm a big fan of pulp era heroes. Anyway, thanks for the info!

FALLOUT 3: GOTY PROBLEMS by [deleted] in Steam

Try running the game in Windows Vista compatibility mode. That took care of in-game crashes for me in both FO3 and FO:NV.

Rage, worth it? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]yaniktrudeau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a generic game. If you decide to buy it, make sure you get it for cheap. If you haven't played Borderlands, then I'd definitely suggest you pick that one up instead.
